I was thinking about reservations for the Hollywood Brown Derby and wonder what everyone thinks about it. This is one of the restaurants we have never been to. Wondering how the food is and if worth going?

It depends on what you enjoy eating as well as how much money you are comfortable spending.
They've always had variations on Lamb, Duck, Chicken, Beef and Fish which are very well prepared, presented, and quite tasty (usually... my wife has had dry chicken and duck on occasion). We eat there two or three times every trip as its one of the better dining experiences on property.
A word of caution if you are a scallop aficionado, don't get them here... you need to go to Wolfgang Pucks Cafe or the Dining Room upstairs.
The recent swap over to the trio of mini desserts instead of regular portions we didn't like, but they still have full sized grapefruit cake portions available.

1. Pricing- far too high for all things involved, but typical to WDW nonetheless.
2. Food- I've never had a meal where the food was unsatisfactory in quality or quantity. It's usually well prepared.
3. Service- Almost always attentive, sometimes to the point of semi-impressive. Friendly, diligent, and knowledgeable staff. I've only had one annoyingly negative instance, and it was resolved professionally.
4. Atmosphere- very nice. Often very noisy, but the beautiful decor is always a plus.

I think we ended up deciding against the Hollywood Brown Derby. I thought we would do a breakfast at the Crystal Palace and change things up a bit. I really miss the Tony Town Square breakfast when you had a large group. It was one of the best experiences I had in a character meal.

As a suggestion to you and also to @Disneycrazy752 , you might want to take a look over in the WDW Restaurants and Dining thread, in the WDW Magic Forums. You might find some additional information there about the restaurant. Or, you could utilize the "search" function, and type in Hollywood Brown Derby; I'm sure there will be multiple posts that will relate to this.
Good luck, and I hope you have the opportunity to experience this restaurant. I've often wanted to go there, but it's a little out of my price range.

It's a must do for us every trip. We generally don't eat in the parks because we tend to feel rushed, but it is a more relaxing atmosphere.

Was there last week after a couple years of not being there, it was wonderful!
