As for the wild cats, you would be surprised how many feral cats there are. They hide during the day and after most of the people are gone they will forage for food (which there is an abundant supply of at a place like Disney World). They can be difficult to control the population of without being inhumane. Many places try to catch them, "fix" them, and then release them to help control rodent populations, but I don't know what Disney does.

I actually feel sorry for the little hairballs. Apparently in a blink of an eye, according to my friend who was out there last night, they learned to talk and were begging people to take them to higher grounds. :lookaround:

Eh, Im beginning to believe that Disney turned these hairballs into a security team to keep mice/rats out of the parks during the day. Think about it, when was the last time you ever saw a mouse or a rat taking a stroll in one of the parks?

No but I did see a mouse and a RAT at the Toy Story building at the All Star Movies Resort this summer. THey were definitely not wearing white gloves, red shorts, and yellow shoes!
