This Disney show in Vancouver blows Happily ever after out of the water

I didn't see anything really special about this show. It's also hard to compare the two. Happily Ever After is presented nightly compared to this show that was probably a one time deal.

But you are comparing a one and done show to one what is done daily (unless there is a party). Yes, that show is amazing but Happily Ever After is fantastic for regualar show, that runs every night. So your comparing apples to oranges.

I just meant the entire show. One off shows can be much better due to the fact that more can be spent on pyro as it wont be a reoccurring cost, whereas in a nighly show you have to take into account that it will cost every night.

And on the other hand - permanent shows have a huge advantage over one-ff shows. Special launch locations can be built to achieve specific effects and other infrastructure and effects elements can be used. One off shows typically only have a strip of ground or water to use.
