Now you see the results of the H2B Visa which allows unskilled labor if supposedly no US workers are available...

Not seeing anything to indicate this seemingly isolated incident had anything to do with H2B Visa workers. Does this information come from other sources that have just not been quoted/linked here or are we making unfounded assumptions that suit some agenda?

I guess I don't have to tell you you're full of it since I'm sure you already know that.

This has nothing to do with H2B visas. This has everything to do with dumb lazy employees who can come from anywhere. Someone from the U.S. and someone who works directly for disney has just as much chance of acting like this as a 3rd party or visa worker.

I agree but the story mentions it was a third party worker.

We all have agendas, thats why we post here. Whats mine? That the guest experience isnt what it used to be. That maintenance and cleanliness has fallen in the past decade or so. Not saying this didnt or couldnt happen two decades ago. With the advent of cell phones and cameras being everywhere we just see more of it. But the fact remains that this isnt your parents Disney. They charge a premium price for less then a premium product.

That the cast members who built the Disney difference is no longer at the helm. Go ahead and pretend that its just as good as ever. Its not.
There was a time when it was said that the place was so clean that you could eat off the street at main street.....now you cant eat off the tables. Yes its my opinion, but an informed one.

My post certainly wasn't directed at you. I understand your point and largely I agree with you. Outsourcing work causes you to lose control of quality. That said I'm fairly certain things like this happened at our parents disney as well. Dumb, lazy and disgruntled employees have always existed, you just didn't have cell phone cameras and the Internet making it so everyone knew instantly and couldn't forget it.

I remember visiting Dixie Landings the year it opened and watched a cast member messing around with a friend and erratically driving a pargo. He ended up running into a family due to his carelessness. Nobody was seriously injured thankfully and I never heard more about the incident. You can bet that if the same thing happened today there would be cell phone video and the event would be all over the media and the Internet.

So if the person in the video is a 3rd party worker, does that instantly make them someone on a VISA? The title of this thread screams racist/discrimination. There are many people from abroad who come here and are better model citizens than the real citizens are, and there's plenty of people who live here that you could classify the other way.

What this has to do with the diminishing quality of Disney? I have no idea.

The business world has changed. It's a matter of how much can you make with as little help possible, yet still keep the product relevant. Go look on youtube, there's videos from the 80s and early 90s where the park is empty, and that was a busy day back then. Now a busy day consists of phase closings and such due to capacity...
