Third party site question in relation to Disney booking

I have researched going down for the Food and Wine Festival in the early part of October. Its a late surprise for my wife. I have seen good pricing on third party sites as most of the values are not offering rooms on the main site. I was wondering if these sites are reliable? Also can I get the park tickets in advance through the main Disney site? Any help or advice is welcome.
Thanks

I would avoid the third party sites. Pricline was a nightmare for us. There is no guarantee you will get the rom they are showing you will just get a room. If you have toi cancel or make any changes with the third party sites you are usually stuck. I would call Disney and see if there are any discounts that would cover your dates.

The big ones, like Hotel Reservation Network and Expedia work well. I don't know what third-party site you're talking about. That's assuming that they don't go out of business, which is a concern with any company, of course.

I hope this isn't going to turn into an advertising thread where you say, "Oh! I booked through Luv's The Best and they are phenomenal and cheap! I highly recommend them!"

We've had a lot of those threads lately, lol.

Don't worry luv this isn't an ad. I was looking at the big name companies. I have only booked through Disney before, but this being a spur of the moment thing I am looking into all options. Thanks for the info

You can buy tickets in advance through the WDW site. However, if you are planning in advance and not as part of a package I'd suggest buying them through a 3rd party reseller like Undercover Tourist. Save a few bucks that way, enough to buy a few tastes/sips at F&W fest.
