I'm taking a cruise with my Family on the Fantasy on May 25th for 7 days. Since I will be turning 18, I was wondering if you guys knew anything that goes on, on board that has people in my general age range. Thanks alot :)

Excellent! The first night on board there will be a meeting for the 18-21 year olds. That's where you'll meet everyone and kind of plan your week! Don't miss that! :)

It is hard to say what there is to do when we don't know what YOU like to do. Tammy gave very good advice. Attend the meeting and make some friends with like interest, and then go do stuff with them.

My oldest daughter - 12 at the time - enjoyed the "tweens" club and the planned activities that DCL hosted, but she also enjoyed meeting up with people she met to do general activities - like see a movie, or hang out at the pool. Other times she would go off by herseif if she wanted to go somewhere and read (the kid loves to read).

There is plenty to do on the ship, just find other people in your age range to hang around with and do it.

Hiya! I am in the same boat as you… well not really I’m going on the Dream in March but you know what I mean. Anyone if your not into hanging out with other people on the cruise I plan on just enjoying the time exploring various things on the ship. I plan on taking pictures, riding the Aqua Duck and just relaxing. I’m sure you’ll have a great cruise!

My son was 18 the first time he went. He was so excited about the food, I think all he did was eat and sleep... AND he tells me weekly he is ready to go again! You will love it!

I don't know if it is the same on a Disney Cruise, but my parents took me on a carnival cruise when I was 18. I could drink and gamble as soon as we left port, all the discos, I got into plenty of trouble, didn't sleep more than 4 hours a night and I actually fell asleep snorkeling and realized I was in no shape to be in the ocean. Now I'm not endorsing my behavior but an 18 year old on a cruise ship will have a very good time!

Disney cruises have a 21 year old drinking age and all Disney ships don’t have casinos. We are however allowed in all adult areas.
