They're not pyro spinners. Those look more like plain pipes, and retract into the castle.

My guess is standoffs for a projection screen. In the test videos there was a screen where these "sideways turrets" now rest.

Well with closer examination I would say it looks like a boom arm and a lifting cable, and as the previous poster said this could be used to lift a screen up.


And it could very well be something like this with the Disney camouflage applied.

It's a boom arm, for the draw bridge.
The bridge doesn't lift, but if this was a real midieval castle, that's where the chains would pull from, no?

... if this was to scale it would probably be a bit lower. (Though certainly if we have someone more knowledgeable in castle designs here, I defer to them)

For sure it is a crane arm. I definitely remember seeing something like this before but much less decorated. I think it was one of the times the castle was gaudily decorated. Fits in nice now though.

It is a boom with cables that hold a very large monitor. The monitor was hanging from it for the Night of Joy concert last September. It was pretty awesome. We could see the picture clearly all the way from Casey's Corner.
