On first sight of this picture, I thought, "why would a JB Hunt truck make you think, Welcome to Disney"? That is me and my Arkansas mind (JB Hunt headquarters are located in Arkansas).

For me, it is the American Airlines Tram that I have to ride that usually has some sort of Disney ads on it. I am excited the whole plane trip there, which is big for me!

agree with other posters.
when i hit the monorail at the airport- IT'S MY FIRST RIDE
we have the kids convinced it is really part of disney world and their first ride- "wasn't it fun? want to do it again, there's no line!"
we ride it while their dad queues up to get the luggage

Number 1 is when i got onto the Monorail at MCO. The second is when i step outside to get onto the ME bus and the humidity hits me.

Depends on how we're getting there-

Driving: We come from Indiana so we have to deal with the wonderfully boring 8 hour trip through Georiga... it isn't coming into Orlando that causes me to realize we are almost there.. but after crossing into Florida from Georiga... those large, obnoxious Pink and Yellow neon signs screaming "Free Orange Juice" and "Cheap Disney Tickets"

No really... seeing those actually makes me realize I'm almost there. That and the Gatorland/Ron Jon/Disney billboards. (The Florida Welcome Center is good too... probably the only rest stop I enjoy stopping at now, I used to enjoy stopping at the Turnpike truck stop with the Dunkin' Donuts.. but... that place has fallen apart... :( )

Flying: We do this more often now... but yeah, climbing onto the Disney Magical Express just makes you feel good. :)

The turn onto International Drive near the convention center is when we really feel like we're back. The 60 mile stretch of I-4 after getting off I-95 feels like forever, but all is well once we see that busy street.

I don't live in Orlando, however with family there I visit several times a year. An exciting start to our Disney trip will start with the billboards and exit signs, but we don't get the Disney feel until we see the signs as we are entering Disney property. Then we know it is time to begin our Disney fun!

I generally take separate trips just for Universal, so it is being on DME sometimes does it, but mostly once I arrive on property is when I realize I have arrived.
