Things I hate about out first cruise!

I hate the 10 pounds I gained eating all the delicious food!
I hate the picture of a now fatter me grinning on the Aquaduck with my son!
I hate not having 4 ice cream machines at my disposal!
I hate not having Disney service all the time (so noticeable on the way home at restaurant)!
I hate not playing shuffleboard at night before dinner!
I hate not seeing a Broadway style show each night before dinner!
I hate not watching movies on a jumbo tron by the pool!
I hate not walking into my now clean bedroom with a great towel animal on it with chocolates!
I hate not having my kids drinks sitting on the table waiting on us when we walk in the dining room!
I hate not having Fasail make napkin art for my kids!
I hate not walking down the hall and seeing Goofy, or Peter Pan, or any one cool like that!
I hate not being on an island more beautiful than I imagined (Castaway Cay, WOW!)
I hate not going upstairs and grabbing some hot delicious fries right before bed, just cause I wanted to!
I hated watching my kids and wife tear up when we were leaving because they loved it so much!
I hate the extra job I am now going to have to get to pay for all the cruises my wife wants to go on now!
And, I hate not being on the ship right now!
Seriously, thanks to the Fantasy crew (especially dinner hosts, Naya and Allah) for a trip more wonderful than we ever imagined!

We took our first cruise in April and yeah, I can relate to every item on your list, especially the extra job. Also, we sailed on the Wonder and our dinner hosts and stateroom steward were outstanding as well.

I feel ya! We had STELLAR service both times we sailed on the Dream. Our servers, stateroom host and every other CM we encountered along the way were EXCELLENT! WDW could use a few pointers in "service" from DCL these days!!

I agree with you. We cruised the Dream in October 2011 and long to go back. My then 4 year old grandson said that we were going to go every October. I wish we could!!!!

We have been back from our DCL cruise about a month and already working on plans for next year. We also miss all of those things you do from the ship. DCL is second to none in customer service. IMO

At least you did not list that you hated the hand scooped ice cream in Cabanas at lunch. I really hated that. Especially dulce de leche. If you were on board last week I think I remember you walking around with a permanent frown. I hated you frowning.

One of my favorite things! Anybody else remember when "Scoops" was the regular ice cream service on Deck 9 of the Wonder and Magic? Hard ice cream and toppings (like nuts and M&M's) instead of soft serve? Those were the days!

I completely agreed with everything you said! We did our first cruise on the Dream in January and I have been pining away for another trip since then. I am trying to plot our next cruise, but given other time/trip commitments, it looks like we may not get to go again until January 2016 ... so very sad.

For the time being, I have to live vicariously through everyone else on these boards. I can't wait to read all of those trip reports following those Norwegian cruises next year!

I 100% agree with everything. I personally would add hating not stoping by cove café and seeing what sweet treats we could try.
