I was in Manhatten on Sunday at Central Park around the Strawberry Fields area. There was a large group of young people that were taking pictures of the Imagine mosaic on the ground. I noticed that they were wearing shirts with mouse ears and the word "brazil". I thought it was funny to see the Disney Brazilian tour groups in NYC!

I wonder how many of those Brazilians were big enough fans of the Beatles to know that John Lennon signed the paperwork that ended the group while he was at the Polynesian in 1974.

i told my parents i would love to stay in the room where it happened ( where he signed the papers), but i am assuming it either no longer exists or costs more money then i have :(

One of my friends joked tonight that maybe we should visit Brazil during the summer...but maybe that wouldn't work because they're all up here so nothing would be open there. :eek:

Oh, and 2016 may be a good (i.e. quieter, less annoying) summer to visit with the Olympics being held in Brazil that year...;)

Sooo... are you suggesting the idea of a WDWmagic tour to Brazil?

We can all stomp around wearing WDWmagic shirts and singing the Mickey Mouse Club March in very loud English...

Did they do an aerobics routine in the middle of the road on Times Square? Clap and chant through a musical? Rob a local shop blind? Push New Yorkers aside who were waiting for the subway?

I head up there for the anniversary every year and seeing it decorated still gets me every time
