Okay, so this is forever in posting -- it happened over 3 months ago, but I'm just getting around to posting...
At the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club (great restaurant when you want to get out of the parks for a bit of relaxation -- it's a close walk or boat ride from Epcot), they used to have a Bourbon marinated Flat Iron steak that was to die for... somewhat like the Jack Daniels' Flat Iron at TGI Friday's, but better... and they TOOK IT OFF THE DAMN MENU!
Sorry for the rant. I loved that steak. Went for my birthday dinner this year and they didn't have it. They couldn't even re-create it. I was told that they would make it for me if I gave them some advance notice, but it's killing me... did anyone else ever try this one? Anyone catch the recipe by any chance? I'm going to try to catch one of the chef's during my visit next week and see if they can find the recipe...
Anyone else have anything that compares to this steak or any other favorite steak options at the World? Le Cellier is decent, but didn't measure up to Yachtsman IMHO.
