They should rename the place "The World's Sickest Place"

Just got back and seemed like every second or third kid running around was spreading colds like it is the thing to do. Sure enough I caught a cold from one of these disease bags.

Tried to always wash my hands etc.... but then I get on a bus of some other enclosed place and they be spreading their colds.

Allergies are terrible in the fall ... I suspect some were not sick but experiencing allergy symptoms. And while many others may have had colds, what do you expect when you go to an environment loaded with kids?

Every time we come over from the UK my family get a cold for the first few days but that's because where not used to all the air con in the rooms and stores
I got sick when we went to Las Vegas due to the perfumed air in the major casinos. I thought I had strep and we even went to the doctor. The doctor told me he see's people with this reaction quite often. We had to avoid all the major casino's gambling floors.

I wonder if a lot of the "sick" people are really having reactions to completely different environments from where they live and not germs.

I seriously doubt they were all colds but rather symptoms of the changes in the weather/temperature. Oh, and those "disease bags" are going to get stuck paying the $18T debt that we all have been having a grand time charging up and probably will never be able to visit Disney.
I'll take "What does one thing have to do with the other?" for $300, Alex.

I don't think they be meaning to.

You went to Disney World. Did you expect everyone there to be cold-free? I hate to tell you this, but there were likely just as many adults running around with a cold as children. (or as you so eloquently put it.... "disease bags")

Exactly. It's Disney... it's the start of flu & cold season.... your'e in close proximity with thousands of adults & children...who have touched every surface you are touching.... riding in buses, ride cars that are full. Youre lucky to come home without a cold. Heck, when DS was in elementary school, I was expecting to pick up a cold, virus, from him every year when he came home. I always seem to catch colds from my customers. But I dont call them disease bags.

You don't have to worry about that anymore now that they have raised the temperatures in the attractions from "nice and cool!!" to "sweat, you bastards!!!" and they have put sweat conditioners, I mean energy efficient air conditioners in all the resort rooms.

Sometimes I feel like I am alone in this world as the only person who really doesn't worry about catching anything. I have a pretty strong immune system. Just a hunch, but I think not worrying about it makes you stronger. Who wants to be wrapped in a bubble anyway? I have two kids, and I guess I'm a bit of a throwback when it comes to parenting where I don't worry about them catching a cold. If anything it'll be good for them.
