Yes it could be offensive if one religion or culture was always singled out to be made fun of, but surely everyone is there to be made fun of.

Whats the difference between that and someone calling me 'sporran boy' or 'haggis muncher' or something like that?

Do i take offense? No, because i know there is no ill will felt.

Oversensitivity is half the world's problem in my view. If people learn to laugh at themselves, then i believe the world would be a better place.

I am probably the person I laugh at the most so I don't really need to any more than I already do. Anyway I was not trying to start an argument. And even if I was I have a right to defend my beliefs and others beliefs too.

I agree, you do have the right to defend your beliefs, but what I'm saying is that i don't see any need for you to defend them.
