I think a Hong Kong Dinsney would do incredible. Hong Kong is already filled with millions of people, most of which are payed highly.

Disney isn't struggling, not in the least bit. "They" claim they don't have enough money in their budget, BULL! Park attendance has been up, and is going up more and more each week, but they will still make the same claim of not making enough. So as an excuse, they cut us (cast members), jack the prices of tickets and food (yes, certain items are more now), and use September 11th as the biggest excuse to say, (sarcastically) "Oh no, we were attacked, our economy is hurt! We have to cut down!" when THEY know and most of US know that they wanted to do this for a long time now.
The more that they can focus on the all mighty dollar, by putting their product in very populated areas, like Hong Kong, they will probabaly have more money then they know what to do with. This is the greed in them talking.
To add to Asian parks having some of the best numbers: Asians somehow worship the Disney legacy, as well as people from the UK. They practically live for it. I have nothing against anybody, that's my disclaimer, but I tend to be very observent of these things.
At Disney, at this point, they don't care about cast members or guests, all they want are the dead presidents!

I just wanted to state the reason they may have high salaries is because the cost of living is very high.

HA! You've been looking at Universal's figures, haven't you?
All of Disney's parks (save for the Oriental Land parks) are down. Two of them, DCA and Disney Studios Paris, are doing extremely poorly, like bleeding red ink all over the floor poor. Disney's other parks are also down, some more than others, but that is mostly due to cannibalization from other parks, increased competition, and a lack of new attractions. But still, except for maybe DCA and DSP, the attendance is not low enough to justify all of these cutbacks.

Oh, I absolutely agree with that. There are still using it as an excuse for explaining why attendance is down, even though every other park chain has said that the effects of 9/11 have worn off.

Phenix, where the hell do you find all this stuff? I'm not disagreeing with you, I just want to know where you find all the info on park attendance and stuff. Is there a website or something? I am always ignorant in this category.

You can find most of it on the web if you know where to look, and know who to trust. However, I do have other ways of verifying it.
