That Tzatziki sauce looks very green. Did it have mint or dill in it? The rest looks wonderful!Office luncheon treats from Zoës kitchen…!!!

It was ok. I was under the impression it would be spicy considering it was called "Jamaican Jerk" but turns out it was just their sweet mustard sauce with some "Caribbean" seasoning mixed in it. Alas it hardly had any heat, so I had to add pickled Jalapenos and Pepperoncini's

Matthew had the wonton soup with 2 pork egg rolls, Carolyn had the shrimp and cashews with a pork egg roll, and I had the moo shoo pork, with the thin pancakes for wrapping and plenty of hoisin sauce, and 2 pork egg rolls…!!!!!

I love wonton soup, egg rolls, shrimp and cashews -- and especially -- MOO SHOO Pork, with Hoison Sauce and those thin pancakes!!!

Yep, love it all, but the moo shoo is sooooo good…!!!!!
However, there is a place a little further down the road called Hao-Hao Vietnamese & Chinese that’s even slightly better…they cut the pork into thin strips, so it just eats better…!!!
Plus, their moo shu (how they spell it on the Hao-Hao menu) shrimp is simply AMAZING…!!!!!
ETA…
We went to Red Lotus because traffic was still pretty thick, so we wanted to stay closer to home. Hao-Hao is a few miles further away, and across the interstate.
There are still so many Asian places around here that we haven’t even tried yet.

Smoked pork ribs, serve yourself on the kitchen island, and my plate of smoked sausage, smoked pork ribs, green bean casserole, pea salad, potato salad, beans and deviled eggs.
Also, a strawberry cheesecake sheet cake for dessert, and enjoying my Shiner Bock out on the back patio…!!!!!

I’m a big fan of Shiner Bock.
Same here…!!!
I think we posted about this before, but Shiner is my Mom’s hometown…!!!
The brewery has been around since 1909, and I remember when they only brewed one beer…Shiner Premium…!!!
