The Osborne lights are mostly up

along with a building missing from the NYC Backdrop

The Wheel at Harper's Mill does not turn anymore, thanks to a metal piece on top of the wheel.

The Strollers are currently rentable at the Newsstand, but they will soon be under the train station, but here's what's the old stand looks like (where the lockers will be.) Wheelchairs are still at the same location.

The Train Station Rehab. Notice only one small opening to board the trains.

the Busses seem to be sporting some new stickers on the back

and on the windows

And finally look what the competition put up...

A New sign!

 anyhow, that concludes the update, hope you all enjoyed it.

I will have a HUGE picture update due out october 23. I'll be taking 2 full days in the parks, so lots of pictures will be posted.

Steve-I will e-mail you these pictures so that you can add them to the site.

When I click on the thumbnail, I can't see a larger picture. I get a new window with a blank page...

I was trying to see which building was missing from the NY forced perspective....

Awesome :sohappy:

At least other parks know how to give everything a fresh and updated look.

You know, I have offen wondered if it is fair that Disney has all those signs advertising stuff in their parks. Sometimes I wonder if maybe some of the other area attractions should be allowed to use those signs too....

They do - its jsut a matter of who bought what sign.

I see universal signs all the time and busch too - it's merely a matter of where you go.

Thanks

Thanks for the update.

I wonder...the suspicious person I am...if the "rehab" of the Studios arch will have "MGM" removed when it's finished.

It looks like the Flatiron Building is missing.

But shouldnt other area attractions be given equal time? Is it fair that one theme park have a monopoly in a given area?

If they want the board they need to pay! It's not like Disney gets all the boards for free. They pay big money for all that ad space.

I thought of the same thing, however, a member of the Hollywood Glee Club (A street show on Sunset Blvd.) still refers to himself as Mr. Metro, the first M of MGM, and he hoped we were all having a good day at his theme park.

One more thing i noticed:The Curtain on the Hall of Presidents seperating the lobby from the theature doors was not working. The curtains were perminately open. The show inside seemed to be working fine, but the seats have lost thier padding over the past years.

you know its funny about sea world is that when i worked at the world in 2002 i dont know if they still do it but i got a discount there, funny how when people are at the same competition for buisness but they learn that they can be friends and work together for the greater good of taking out Universal, the unholy parks that i put in the same category as the New York Yankees, oh yeah and if you dont know by now they lost hahahahaha thank god
