Hello all,

I am looking into going to Disney in the middle of March of 07. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the parks are?

is it busy in march or slow? this will be my second time staying out of the park so my friends and I need to do all of disney in mostlikey 2 days maybe 1.

But I believe we are going the week of the 8th if that helps....

Any help would be great..

Thanks a lot

I asked the same question on here recently because I am going in early March during Canadian spring break. Several people responded that the crowds would not be bad because U.S. schools tend to have their spring breaks in late March or, in most cases, in April. I expect it to be busy, but not as crowded as our Christmas and even August visits. Even if it is a bit crowded in mid March, go anyway. Lots of people give WDW energy and it's better than not going at all. :-)

If you only have a day or two, just get to the parks before they open and stay until close. You'll most likely get lots done during the first few and last few hours of the day! Enjoy!

The first week of March is usually pretty slow. I have gone that week a few times and barely waited in any lines. However, once you start to get into the second week, you will hit spring breakers. By the mid-second week to third week, it is chaos lol. I would avoid anything past the first week of March.

March will be quiet unless your visit is affected by Spring Break and it also depends on when Easter falls - Easter in 2007 is at the beginning of April so thats one problem solved !

I was asked this same question recently. Just note that Disney considers all of March to be one of their peak season. I use the points/night for staying at a DVC resort as guideline. The points per night at a DVC resort is the 2nd highest during all of March, secondly only to the Easter holiday and the Christmas-New Year period.

Still, I tend to agree that maybe the 1st week in March might still be OK as far as the crowds. Unfortunately though, I don't think going to WDW during this time will get you any good deals as far as Disney resort costs are concerned.

From January 1st until March 8th, 2007, Disney is offering free upgrades on Park tickets to include hopper and water parks & more options. They are also offering discounts on some resorts...possibly value resorts. I know this because the trip for 6 people that I booked last Spring dropped $800 when this promotion was announced in early November. To get these discounts, contact a travel agent today because this 'sale' ends Dec. 16th, 2006!

I've gone around the second to last week of March, and the parks were pretty much a zoo, but it's not terrible. It's if you go at easter is when it really gets swamped.
