Do you think Disney should remove the Swiss Family Treehouse and use the space for something more entertaining yes it is a staple of the Magic Kingdom and is pretty cool but when you think about it all it really is is an elaborate queue so long as they don't put another meet and greet there.

I believe it should stay. It is these unique detail attractions that are the corner-stone of Disney. :)

There is plenty of expansion space available to MK, so it is not neccessary to replace current attractions.

I agree. Leave it be. It is not exciting but it is still fun and offers a unique opportunity for kids to see a "non animated" story come to life.

Although I agree tat the treehouse is notihng more than an over-hyped que...I dont mind it. It's not like they NEED the space at MK...and it usually diverts some of the croud away from the jungkle cruise (people sometimes actually think it IS the que for the jungle cruise)

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.

Agreed. Last time I was there, I walked past it an over heard someone say..."Oh, this is where you get on for the Jungle Cruise".

I say keep it...it's nice to have the little walk through the tree house, it's got some shade and it sort of gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the park. Sometimes you need that!

Woah...i guess you really mean it...screaming it and all...

May i ask what you would prefer to be there? I mean...its not like it takes up a lot of space...and its not like you HAVE to go on it...It also prob costs Disney almost nothing to keep open (not like it needs ride maintenence)....What did you expect the "line" to go to is basically what I'm asking...

While both living seas and swiss family are less interesting and exciting then other attractions the key is varity and ability to apeal to different people. Both can be enjoyed by younger or older guests (provided they can get up the tree house.) My mother-in-law tells a story that she carried my husband as a baby up and down the entire tree house. This winter (30 days from today) my husband can carry his daugher and the cricle can be compelte. I also think that while I never really enjoyed the living seas and mostly avoided it on past trips, I will be able to look at it with new eyes as one of the things a 8 month old can enjoy. :)

Rides like Swiss Family Treehouse, called "walk-thru" attractions, are becoming rare, so I say keep it. Think of it as a walk through dark ride, just not in the dark! :animwink:

There are rumors it'll be turned into Tarzans treehouse or something like that (Is it still a rumor though?)...Maybe we shouldn't talk about removing it till we see how much better/worse Tarzans thing'll be

Tarzan's treehouse is what they made the DL one into.
