The ION channel started reairing episodes of "The Wonder Years" 2 weeks ago and I am completely hooked. This is my all-time favorite show but unfortunately it has never and will never be released on DVD due to copyrights on the 60's era music. So definetely check out this classic while you still can.

Any other Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper fans out there?

"Growing up happens in a heartbeat--One day you're in diapers... Next day you're gone--but the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. I remember a place, a town, a house like a lot of other houses, a yard like a lot of other yards on a street like a lot of other streets,
and the thing is--after all these years--

I still look back with wonder."

I didn't know that about the DVD either. That's too bad, I'd snap it up in a second. I *heart* Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper.

My favorite show, along with Seinfeld.

I'm so glad they started showing it again! :sohappy:
My two favorites as well. Although my wife hates Wonder Years, so it harder for me to watch.

I did notice the show is on a weird channel, which I'm assuming is ION.

I remember reading the show is not on DVD because of the music. However, money talks, so I expect some day we will see it on DVD. It just may be a bit pricey.

I remember crying at the last episode!!! I have no idea if I get that channel or not... I'll have to do a Tivo search when I get a chance!

I loved that show.
Kevin had such feeling.
Sometimes I felt like just taking his family and yelling "Do you see this kid???"

I am so sad to hear about the dvd. For years I've been hoping and searching stores to see if it would finally be released. I actually have all the episodes on tape but don't have a VCR anymore

Kevin and Winnie are one of the all time great tv romances. I still have a crush on Fred Savage.

I tried to watch it the other night and Andy put up the biggest fuss. He started yelling (yes, really yelling) that we had to watch something else because the show makes him sad, thinking about his childhood & all. Well, it does that to all of us, & isn't that the point? Sometimes I cry when I watch The Wonder Years because I'm not a little kid anymore. But I still wanna watch it. I don't know if I get the ION channel at home or not. Andy's such a pain in the butt sometimes. He changed the channel to Law & Order. I am so sick of L&O now.

Alright Kevin Arnold fans, make sure to set your Tivo's because there is some classic Wonder Years episodes coming on this week.

One of my favorite episodes, "Heartbreak", airs on Friday night. Here's the plot summary.

Kevin is excited when a joint field trip is organized with Winnie's school. But things do not work out so well when Kevin has a hard time tearing Winnie away from her new friends. Things go from bad to worse when Winnie tells Kevin she has met someone else.

Also this week focuses a lot on the pseudo-love triangle between
Kevin, Winnie, and Madeline. Make sure to check it out.

What a great show!!

You all must remember Fred Savage's film debut - The Wizard! (It was also the debut of the Nintendo Power Glove!) Sooo good.

Oh my gosh that is such a great episode. The symbolism at the end when they're riding away in the buses is sooo good!

So what's everyone's favorite episode? My fave has to be when Winnie breaks her leg in a car accident and Kevin climbs up to her window at night and mouths through the window that he loves her. It gives me goosebumps every time!

The buses parting ways is so sad.

The "Accident" episode is in my top 3. It's such a roller coaster ride of an episode that ends perfectly.
Here's the last 3 minutes of that episode on youtube.
