The Week After Easter: Many or Few Spring Breaker's?

In most cases, the week after Easter is a huge time for schools/universities to let off for spring break. This year, however, Easter is pushed back almost to the end of April, leaving only a 3-wk average gap between returning from spring break, and being let out (again) for summer break.

Yet I am still finding that a lot of school/colleges are letting off next week (Apr 25-29).

My question is, how many of you live in areas that are off those dates? Looking at the park calendar, it appears things slow down beginning 4/25. But around here there are quite a good many counties off next week.

I feel like that it is almost half and half. For universities, most universities have already had their spring break. Usually spring break for the universities can range from the beginning of March to early April. Most public schools have already had their spring break as well. Private schools on the other hand, have not. The christian/private schools have not because they usually base their spring break around Easter (the week after Easter).

Edit: I live in Chicago. My break is the week after Easter. Most of the public high schools that are near me have already had their spring break (about two weeks ago). My spring break is the same as the private schools near me.

Most schools in Canada are off rotating weeks in March; here in Manitoba, spring break always begins the last Monday of March. Reading week (spring break for universities) starts the 3rd Monday of February, and the term/classes end the first week of April.
