staying at bay lake in a couple weeks... how is the wave for walk-ins? or even making a reservation the day of? i never hear much about it (though it may be my favorite on property) and it's not a destination restaurant, so it seems like it could be an easy one to get into as a walk-in. i've got a reservation for us on our first evening, but we could easily decide to spend the whole day in the parks instead if it's not an issue.

Honestly you should be fine just avoid peak hours and you should be fine! BTW you can also ear at the bar which is open late and very nice.

We have gone at breakfast and there has always been room for our family of between 4 and 7 to just walk in. The buffet is great and very reasonable. Let us know how you enjoy it!

No I do not remember, it was a breakfast buffet - Have you checked the menus section at all ears.net? That is where I refer as that site is as good as Disneys.

If there are no kids in tow on this trip, you might consider just bellying up to the bar in the lounge. You can order from the full menu there, and it's rarely busy. There are also TVs above the center island, if there's a specific event, sporting or otherwise, you'd like to take in over lunch.

The ambiance in there is great, and since it's usually so sparsely populated, even during peak hours, your service should be fairly prompt.
