In looking at the menu, it seems that this could be a "Signature experience" (for dinner) is it?

Nope, just one table-service coupon per person.

Seriously, only five items for dinner? Kinda weak, but they look good.

Don't take this premilinary menu at face value. This definitely is not completed, for example, they have yet to release the children's menu for dinner.

I know someone who just tried 15 minutes to make a reservation. The CM told her she was crazy...that there was no such restaurant at the Contemporary. There are only three restaurants and The Wave is not one of them. :brick:

It's available for sure. I have my own reservations there that day for dinner. Maybe have your friend tell the Cast Member to look up the restaurant under "The" as opposed to "Wave."

We'll miss it in May, but got Res's for our Sept trip :)
It was the first time ever, I called Disney dining and asked for a day, and they actually said, "All time slots are open"... I almost fainted.

Our trip is in early August. We had no problems when trying to make a reservation for The Wave. There were a lot of times available. We were able to get all of our meals booked without a problem. I was shocked I could get one for Le Cellier! I was so worried after reading how everyone cannot get an ADR for it, but I was lucky enough to get one. I like The Wave's menu, but I hope it does expand. I think the desserts sound yummy! :slurp:

Looking at the menu, I noticed that they have a bunch of dessert choices, but few dinner choices. I think they need to expand the menu a little as well.

mmm, the desserts sound awesome!

Wish I could squeeze it in on my honeymoon trip, our ADR are pretty much filled. Anymore and we'd have no free time to just go with the flow, and we need that!

Hopefully next March I will be at The Wave!

Thanks for posting!
