Having lunch here tomorrow, I think. Any opinons? Was looking at the menu and noticed only hot tea but not ice tea?..... Its a toss up between here and Kona. We do Kona often so thought we would try something different.

Love love love it.

Went last year for the first time and going back next month on our first day. No microwaves or freezers in the place... everything is fresh, local, cooked on the spot, sustainable. And delicious.

It's a nice place for a beer and their lunch menu is decent. I liked my bison burger the last time we stopped in for a bite. I think it came with a chimichurri or some kind of pesto that was surprisingly refreshing for a burger condiment. Take your meal in the lounge. It's got a cool atmosphere, which the dining room severely lacks.

It was just okay for me. I prefer The Wave for just sitting down at the bar for a cocktail; not so much for the meal. Maybe we would give it another shot but it just hasn't made it back on our itinerary since we ate there a few years ago for dinner. Kona of course is fabulous, have you tried Grand Floridian Cafe? I totally get wanting to try something new.

Agree with smw insofar as quality. It's not a place to go for atmosphere, though. What it is, is a nice quiet break on a MK day. Have been there for lunch numerous times. It's always been available without an ADR. Also, I've had very good iced tea each visit. When we stayed at the Poly, Kona felt as though it was in the middle of the lobby. GF Cafe has usually been good. Had a wonderful server and meal in November. Ordered the same thing in December, with a very different result. The server was almost surly and the lunch, clearly inferior.

I will add this to my thoughts: Don't go if you're wanting a Mickeyfied experience. Do go if you want amazing food.

Our dinner, from the bread to dessert, was probably one of my favorite meals anywhere ever.

Such a great restaurant! I don't know what your likes and dislikes are but I can tell you that I am certain you will be able to find something you like! We dined here because we liked the local ad sustainable aspects of the menu.

We had: Appetizer for Two, Citrus & Fennel Duck Salad, Brussels Sprouts and the Curry Vegetable Stew

I agree with Steve. I have eaten here twice. It really is like eating in a basement. And it could be a restaurant anywhere. You have no feeling that you are connected to The Contemporary or WDW in the least...

We've enjoyed two great meals here. Service was great, food was outstanding. Like others have mentioned, it's not a Disney-ish restaurant - but that's perfectly ok in my book.

I will agree with pretty much everyone else. This restaurant has decent atmosphere but it could be a restaurant anywhere - certainly not Disney-ish.

The meal we had there was the best food of our entire trip. I preferred the food there over the meal we had at Narcoosees. The service and food were simply outstanding. We'll be back soon.

The Wave has very little atmosphere, but the food was great during my recent lunch there in July. I really like the focus on local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, which is unique for a non-signature Disney restaurant.

One of my favorite dishes last month was the summer salad with locally sourced watermelon, avocado, arugula, olives, and pecans, with feta and white balsamic.
