I think Animal Kingdom will keep a relatively cohesive theme.

Every studio park around the world is evolving out of the studio theme.
Agreed. I will say I do get why they are doing what they doing. The guests that make up the majority of attendance doesn't really are about park them. They just want their IP

I mean the difference is shocking in terms of what was announced at D23 2024 vs the Chapek-era D23 announcements.

There’s not a single parks project that I’m not excited for. I definitely could not say the same during the Chapek era where there was multiple projects that left a lot to be desired, IMO.
Yeah…you kinda are going for the bait on this one too.

It’s Iger for Iger’s purposes

All that stuff you just listed was the same motive…even when “retired” - because he controls the board and was engineering palace intrigue

Eventually the fog will lift on this guy

The lack of investment/jacking prices/taking things away predated chapek, he just was way more brazen about it.

Seems investors are happy today. It was 102 yesterday when I checked, sitting around 109 right now.
Ride the wave…

And sell

None of Disneys financials have a brighter outlook. Which is why they’ve underperformed for the last few years. All the mistake are still there.

Some…like parks…are gonna intensify.

I will say…I have a funny feeling that wdw is gonna get a bump next year…but they were already gonna have an awful year so it mitigates the damage a little

I'm getting the same sense. I think WDW will only benefit from EU opening.

I appreciate your support of Tom Staggs, but sadly, I don't think he's going to be chosen. I don't know who Bruce Vaughn is, is he good? Is he one of the outside candidates?
Bruce was CCO of Imagineering from 2007-2016, which I consider to be one of the greatest eras for WDI. He’s now back at WDI as President and CCO.

He’s definitely not a CEO contender.
