Markets are down, but DIS continues to seem stable to me.

Again, if the "Peltz is losing!" stock dump means that the price dropped less than the major indexes dropped on a down day, then he wasn't a big factor. If anything, you could say that after rumors of Peltz losing leaked, Disney outperformed the market and therefore the only reason it didn't drop more is because of market optimism about Peltz's failure.
I don’t that anyone here knows how much of a factor he is? He probably doesn’t

Well the stock is now up for the day even though the market is down. The rise that "coincides" with Peltz also coincides with the Hulu purchase. Add it up and he's not the reason for a very minor morning dip on a down day overall that has since turned into a minor increase for the day. Again, my replies were to someone falsely attributing that morning dip to Petlz and his apparently imminent defeat. Logic and facts kind of ruin that argument.

I’m sure there are multiple factors

But you think it’s a coincidence it went up $20 in about a week after that last quarterly?
One word mattered:buyback

Do people understand why Wall Street loves that?

Worth noting the guy says he’s a Disney loyalist who “enjoys the parks and content.” Biggest issue he identifies is succession. Just adding context.
That has been consistent from EVERYONE at this point.

You know…it’s possible this works itself out without Peltz?

Its a video not an article. But yes we ALL know what is at the center of this. The important take away though is that Peltz's team cannot even answer basic questions on what their plan is, its all the same fluff they put out in their PR for this.
Apparently you don’t know

Because it’s about one word: SUCCESSION.

That was easy enough even for you…all you had to do is read

lol…
You don’t campaign inside your amusement parks

Don’t you get tired of making excuses for the pathetic? Just say nothing and let it pass
Its not an excuse, I just don't see an issue with it myself. If others see an issue with it, cool.

Plus there is a car in the background of that picture. Where was it taken? Was it in CM areas or was it public facing?

My dude, this is just like only reading the title of a clickbate article, actually watch the video. Its not just about succession, it was about the call with Trian.

Also all of us here, 100%, have agreed a succession plan IS THE TOP thing that needs to be addressed. So get off that soap box, we all agree that the board needs to address succession immediately.
