Today I recieved my Disney 2005 Annual Report and thought I'd share some interesting things:
1st, the finiancial highlights (I know its big, but it has to be to read it)
$ Amounts in MILLIONS
Notice the blue graph where after September 11, 2001, the huge drop in park revenue, and where the parks have recovered and have surpassed pre-9/11 levels and continue to grow.
Also the Media Networks & Parks and Resorts are UP from 2004,
And the Studio Entertainment and Consumer Products are DOWN.
Also in his letter to Shareholders Iger says:
..."In order to thrive in this new era and to deliver long-term growth and increased shareholder value, we have established three strategic priorities: Creative Innovation, Global Expansion, & Application of Technology."...
Also included is information about Disney mobile http://www.disneymobile.com
