The Walking Dead Season 4

- I'm surprised teenage Woody Allen made it this long through the apocalypse.
- Daryl an an undercover cop is a show I would watch. I know they were joking, but seriously AMC that is a better idea for a show than Low Winter Sun was.
- I like the story following life in a community that doesn't keep getting overshadowed by the evil governor running the place. Dealing with a plague should also be pretty interesting too.
- The zombies falling from the ceiling was just awesome. I felt a little sick for laughing at some of the splats, but they really went over the top with some of them.
- I knew crazy lady's husband would be a walker the moment rick started following her.

I loved the episode but I thought it was weird they were gardening on the same ground where they massacred all those walkers last season! Wouldn't all those zombie guts still be all over the place even if they "cleaned up"???

Still upset Andrea is gone :(

Maybe that causes the plague?

What better way to start of season 4 then with the zombie cover of "It's raining men!"

This season looks like it is going to be really good. The possible mutation to the virus eluded to with young Woody Allen's demise could alone shatter everything that they have worked for.

There are however a couple of things that always makes me want to reach into the screen and pimp slap someone...

When you roll into the the equivalent of a gold mine, why is there no urgency? We are just going to stroll around without a care in the world like we are at a deserted Wal-Mart on a Sunday morning. Grab every battery and non perishable item you can find with a quickness, get out and come back with an empty school bus and a force of people to clean the place out to the bare walls.

How many fully armored Humvees that seem to need nothing but keys and a tank of gas are they going to leave behind? Sure, the little Hyundai is great for scouting runs because of its great gas milage, but I am thinking that something with a little more girth would be quite useful at times.

Season premiere was good, as always. It was a little slow at points since it was setting us up for the season ahead. I even signed up for Society, Science, Survival: Lessons from AMC's The Walking Dead that started today through Canvas.

It drives me nuts when they head out of camp on a motorcycle. Who would do that?

I enjoyed the season opener. I liked seeing the improvements to the prison and how the group has fallen into semi-normal routines. I particularly liked the scene where they walked up to the front of the store and knocked on the window, waiting for the walkers to come to the door. This well-observed little detail reinforces the reality of the universe they've created.

I also appreciated the spectacle of walkers falling through the store's ceiling, followed by the helicopter. Cool stuff. The final shot of the dead kid on the shower floor with weird bloodshot eyes was a great kicker, too.

I guess Rick hasn't learned an important lesson. He let the woman with the head for a husband turn? He didn't shoot her in the head to make sure she was dead dead. This might come back to bite him in the a$$ (again).

Who's feeding the walkers?
The doctor seems a little crazy. Good start to the season so far. It is a shame that they killed phineas so quick I was looking forward to see Carl have a friend to be with. Not a fan of Carl in the show r comics but think he gets crapped on sometimes. Really looking forward to see ty more and using his hammer.

I don't know who's feeding the walkers, but it does make for an interesting puzzle. Here are some of my thoughts, tied to the person's likely motive:

1. Thinks the walkers are pets or still human in some way. One of the kids would then be the likely candidate.
2. Means harm to the group. This would point to a former Woodbury resident, as Master Yoda notes.
3. Is just plain crazy. And as Bparso87 suggested, this might indicate the doctor.
4. Wants the group to stay in the prison. In this scenario, the feeder keeps the walkers close to remind everyone how dangerous it would be to leave. The feeder could then be someone who is either extremely afraid of the outside world, is very comfortable in the prison, wants more time in close quarters with someone there, or has any combination of those motives. That could be almost anyone, though if I had a guess, I would say Carol.

As to who killed the infected people? I'm thinking Carl.

I'd include Tyrese too.
