Correct. There are also a number of characters that appear or die at different times and in different ways.

If you have not read the comics and like the show, I would recommend picking up the compendiums 1 and 2 which will get you up to episode 96 of the comic.

I haven't read the comics and want to wait until the TV series ends like I did with Dexter. But my question to you is: does the TV series follow closely along with the comics? Some guests on the Talking Dead say they don't. I wanted your opinion on it.


The show follows the comic the same way that all of the "based on a true story" movies follow their subject matter. It's very loosely done.
