This is by far the snack shop I frequent the most out of all the parks. For some reason its fries are superior to any other stand anywhere in the world. Does anyone knwo the reason for this? They are McDonalds Fries that they sell plenty fo places in the park but they are sooo perfect at the Village Fry. I doubt anyone knows the true reason but who knows....

Also if you just wanna share your fav snack spot Im always up for a good snack place. :p

It might be that they taste different. Perhaps they are made slightly different than the other fries in WDW.

I've experienced this with the chicken strips. The Mara in the Animal Kingdom Lodge for some reason tastes the best. :)

Never had the chicken strips at the Mara, but we feel the same way about the Gasparilla Grille at the Grand Floridian. Even though they are the same chicken strips sold throughout the World they just taste better at the Grand. Maybe they change the oil more often?

I think that they are the same, its just that you are in the happiest place in the world, so therefore everything you eat is just that much better.:p

Or the oil might be at the right temperature.

At Village Fry Shoppe the only thing they fry is fries, that might be why you think they taste so great. They aren't frying chicken strips, fish fillets, or anything else there. The frying oil hasn't picked up flavours from other foods.

COuld be the case. But theres also a fry stand . Im not sure what its called but it says "theres gold in them there fries" on it. Its in frontier land on the way to SM Wet. Anyway I believe fries are the only thing they are frying there and they dont taste nearly as good.

Can't wait to eat at WDW their fast food is great compared to the amusement park we have here in Missouri. They call it Worlds of Fun and the food and some of the people that work there are just not up to my Disney standards. Anyway, like having a icecream cookie sandwich made to order on Main Street. I will be having one of those on Halloween!!! Can't wait!!!!!

My mom and I have staked out the McD's fry cart in Frontierland because it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch....

It's definitely the oil. As another post mentioned, fish, chicken strips, etc. aren't fried in there. Plus, unlike your local McDonalds, I'm guessing in WDW they are good about changing the oil frequently (I have never had fries taste as good at my local McDs than they are in WDW).

A bit OT, but when did the Village Fry open? That's either relatively new, in the past year or so, or I never noticed it before this year.

I love the nuts by POTC, and I made up my mind to try an eggroll last year at the Adventureland cart, and the three times I've been to MK this year the darn thing has been closed.

Figures.

Pretty much any Cedar Fair food is crap, compared to other amusement parks of the same genre.
