Hello everybody what I have is a proposal for something where we can all pitch in and stretch out our inner imagineers to the fullest.

Picture this: An endless budget to create the biggest and greatest Magic Kingdom- style park ever! :D

you can contribute as many attractions as you want and as many suggestions as you like, there is no limit, I will post many updates made of the attractions in each land so far.

the only rule is that each attraction must follow the mythology and storyline of the land in which it is situated in. (Or at least is a justifiable addition to the land)

You can also suggest lands of your own, we're going to cram in as much attractions as we can to this MK.

regarding the storyline of each land, I shall pattern a story for each of the 4 major lands based on the "classic" attraction(s) that are there.

Fantasyland - A fantasy-filled kingdom ruled by Mickey Mouse. Basically all the Disney Classic movies would fit in here, the over-all theme is that this is Mickey's kingdom. Fantasyland will have 2 sections one is the light(heroes) and one is the dark(villains). Every aspect of the classic Disney Animated Feature would find its place here.

Frontierland - As you enter Frontierland, you notice that it has two personalities, one is that of a victorian American town and the other, just beyond the river is that of an old mining town in the wild west. Simply put, Frontierland is the place to fit in anything that has to do with "America"

Adventureland - From the Carribean port, a brave captain dares you to explore the Wilds of Africa and the mysterious "Adventure Island" riddled with ancient lore and spirits....

Tomorrowland - simply put, Tomorrowland is the City of the Future...

I will post more elaborate backgrounds later (like the history of the McKentee Family and how they affect Frontierland, or the battle between Mickey and Maleficent, or the long standing feud between Jack Sparrow and Captain Elias and how it leads us to Adventure Island<which will be rechristened "Nuku Hiva">)

By the way, feel free to make alterations to the stories and "classic" rides.

Okay now time for those new attractions

I just don't get it stitchcastle. This type of thought process is what I've been looking for in Isle of Disney. Why won't you join? Everything in the project isn't finalized yet and everything is subject to change, since I still want the creativity to flow...

I made Isle of Disney so all of our creative talent could join forces and we would come out with the best possible ideas (presumably)...

while I absolutely love Isle of Disney and I would want nothing more than be part of it, I was hoping to maybe "re-invent" the magic kingdom concept and see just how flexible it can be :)

Here is the secret history of Fantasyland:

Once Upon A time, in a land far, far away, A Great King ruled over the Kingdom of Fantasyland. The Kingdom was the most prosperous and beautiful of them all with a grand castle towering over all. But all did not remain in peace when in its king died without leaving an heir to the throne. The entire realm was in great despair and battles began for who could reign over it all. The kingdom was being sought after by 4 other kingdoms hoping to expand their territory.

The first kingdom to show interest in Fantasyland was the Kingdom of 'Shadow'. Ruled by a sinister Fairy, the kingdom hails from the dark mountains of the north in which the evil fairy plots to take over all the land.

Upon hearing news of the Kingdom of Shadow's uprising, King Triton, a good friend of the late king of Fantasyland, felt the need to defend his friend's kingdom from such a hostile take-over and thus established Fantasyland as his kingdom's 'colony' while they find a king.

Looking to expand her Territory, The Queen of Hearts of the Kingdom of Wonderland looked to possibly taking over Fantasyland as well.

The entire land was in turmoil and at the verge of a war when a great miracle happened, the council of Magic, which is headed by the Fairy Godmother and the Wizard Merlin anounced that Fantasyland does have a king and that "he shall come from the sky bearing a golden icon long lost from the land".

Unknown to the people, in a castle just by the borders of Fantasyland lived a great sorcerer and his apprentice, a mouse named Mickey. Mickey was quite the spirited young apprentice, always excited to learn in the field of sorcery.

After mingling with his master's magic hat, Mickey was banished from the castle. Tired and lonley, Mickey wandered the backroads of the country, amongst the Hundred Acre Woods looking for reprieve when an old beggar woman came up to him asking for water to drink. Quite thirsty himself, Mickey gave the woman what was left of his of his sack of water. In return, the old woman gave him a single bean.

Not knowing what to do, Mickey planted the seed on a small patch of land beside a pub in which he now works.

The next day Mickey was shocked to see that the bean has grown into a giant beanstalk. Curious as to where it leads, Mickey climbed the stalk where he found a castle in the clouds. Inside the castle he finds a magic carpet, a magical golden harp and a magic Lamp in which a Genie is held prisoner guarded a giant. being the good samaritan that he is, Mickey goes to their rescue angering the wicked giant.

Mickey races down the beanstalk with the three magical artifacts in his hand.....

I'm still very interested in helping out with the Isle of Disney Project but twhat I'm doing here is a sort of test for all of us veterans of the Imagineer forums. How they can make attractions and fit them in throught he elements of both classics disney and the storyline I will be making for the lands. Just to see how "flexible" the imagintaion really is.

The Legend of Fantasyland Part II

Having saved The three artifacts from the giant, Mickey became a local hero in the town and when news of the great Mouse hero reached the capital of Fantasyland, all were speculating that the fairies' prophecy has come true for it was the Golden Harp that was once stolen from the castle.

Mickey was then taken to the capital to participate in a sort of king's test to see if he truly is the rightful heir to the throne. He must endure 4 tests:

The first test, From King Triton, is to set the great Whale Monstro free from the clutches of an evil Pirate.

The second test, from The Queen of Hearts, is to get himself out of the "Curious Labyrinth".

The Third Test, from Maleficent, is to defeat the evil Hydra.

and the fourth and final test, from Merlin, is to take out the Sword from the stone.

well, you can guess what happened next...

I declare the brainstorming for Fantasyland begin!

next up, Adventureland: The Legend of Captain Walter Elias.

Again what I wanted Isle of Disney to be, but it's ok... I just that you want to be a serious part of the project, because it seems like your got some great skills and excellent creativity and imagination...

Wow, the King Walt wasn't really intentional but that could work! thanks Tahu! :)

I've now decided that 4 of the 5 lands' mythology will be rooted to Walt, there's also a special story tieing all of the lands.

coming soon are the stories of the Sidney Family of the Wild West and President W.E Yensid of the United World Federation Space Colonies.

For now I'd really like for everyone who reads these to imagineer attractions based on these stories be they totally new or a new spin on the classics. thank you :)

Wow, i thought this thread was dead! thanks for the Dragon's Lair Vader, it would fit in perfectly at FL

here's Frontierland:

Frontierland: A Dynasty of Fallen Dreams and the Great town of New Liberty

All Walter Sidney ever wanted was to make sure that his family would be well nourished and would prosper in the new world. But even with the bustling economy, the Sidney family was having a hard time in the urban world of the east coast.

One night, Walter had had enough and decided that he wood uproot his entire family and take his chances on the then booming west. Surprisingly enough, everyone in the apartment complex in which they lived in followed suit. From the lady with a million cats to the building idiot, they all followed Walter and his family to start a new life on the other side of the country. You see Walter was a very good man and was basically the life of the entire complex. He helped out everybody whenever he could and thus the entire crop of characters of 153, Edison Avenue felt that they should also join him in his quest for prosperity.

Mind you, everyone in Edison Avenue is unique in their own way, most hail from far away lands and distant cultures hoping to prosper in America while others are just some ordinary fellow who are down with their luck.

All of these people packed their belongings and took to the west to seek out better fortune.

Frontierland, Walter's Gold and the Wild Frontier

Having discovered the legendary gold mines of Big Thunder Mountain, Walt quickly became wealthy. He went on to build a new town which was connected to the rest of civilisation by a railroad. He even built two gigantic Mansions, a private railway which had access to Big Thunder Mountain.

The new town, dubbed New Liberty was inhabited by the people who followed him on his quest for gold and who remained loyal to him. He even went on to buy the town at the base of Big Thunder Mountain, Thunder Mesa.

After years and years of wealth and prosperity, Walt succumbed to a mysterious illness that befell on him after acciddentally shooting a bear in the forest. And that's when it all went down hill.

Walter's children inherited the vast family fortunes and businesses.

His eldest son Michael, went on to become mayor of New Liberty and took the town to new heights of fame and prosperity and further solidified its old american , patriotic charm. He now lives in the huge mayor's Mansion with his family.

Minnerva inherited the family farm which remained to moderately sustain New Liberty.

but those were the only success stories.

Mortimer, who took charge of the Mines and Thunder Mesa wasn't so lucky. The town was frequently attacked by both Bandits and renegade Indians which sent the town in an economical downward spiral. The mines, which were thought to be inexhaustible lost all its gold during a Goldrush when word got out that Walter had died.

Thomas, one of Walt's more superstitious children, felt that it was the Indians' fault that his father died and went on to wage a war against them, even setting up a gigantic fortress hellbent on wiping the indians out and keeping them out of Thudner Valley.

But it was the youngest child, Charlotte, who was affected the most. With her wedding just days away when her father died, Charlotte fell into despair and locked herself, her friends and all her servants inside her Mansion...she was never heard from again.
