I have a Very Good Customer who Actually works on the Rides Keeping most of them safe, He said the Subs will be back and People Mover will have a New kind of Transportation on its Tracks.

If someone can explain this to me, but for some reason I thought Buzz Lightyear was going to be built on the Peoplemover track?

Nope, Buzz Lightyear is being built across from Star Tours. :)

Buzz is in the old Circle-Vision theatre. There is also an old Mission to Mars (Alien Encounter setup) theatre that I wish they would turn into an attraction...I believe it's currently a restaurant. I'm pretty skepticle of the PeopleMover returning...the entire track is disgustingly dilapidated...

Another update from MiceAge:
Rides Come, Rides Go, Nothing Ever Happens at Disneyland

While former park honcho Cynthia Harriss focused on cheaper offerings from her chic and trendy friends in the Entertainment Department to boost attendance, Matt is focusing his long term vision on something theme parks have always depended on to drive attendance; rides, rides, and (yes) more rides.

Matt and his TDA team were even brazen enough recently to propose that the new submarine ride in the ailing Tomorrowland section of the park not just be a simple redressing of the old existing ride, but that an entirely new attraction based on Tokyo DisneySea's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride system be installed in the lagoon's place.

It's still yet to be seen whether or not Burbank will let that much money go towards fixing up Tomorrowland, or whether the cheaper route of bringing the existing submarine fleet out of mothballs with a Finding Nemo theme will win out. But many folks were impressed that Ouimet's group had the guts to put in on the table as a serious proposal in the first place.

*grabs a grain of salt*

I hope they'd model it after TDS's attraction. I've heard it's really good, although doubtless ours would not be an exact clone.

I wonder what the outside part of the lagoon would be used for then because the TDS technology for 20k requires no water on the ride. But it would mean a much more efficient attraction that meets the today's building codes.

I wonder if Autopia would need to be closed if this were to become 20K. I wouldn't know though. I have never been to Disneyland.

Sounds cool! I'm really hoping not for a Finding Nemo attraction. I liked the movie, but I think it just won't fit the theme of either Fantaseyland or Tomorrowland.
