The "Stop taking pictures! You look like a tourist!!!!" November Trip Report

I'm finally ready to start!!!!

Oh and one thing: I took A LOT of pictures so this is going to be a lengthy TR sorry . I'm trying to make this take a while so I finish right before we go in December

Day 1:
We woke up at 6 am. Well, my mom, dad, and sister did. No one woke me and Daniel up! They assumed we had set an alarm and would wake up on time! Thankfully I woke up from excitement at 6:15. I woke Daniel up and we both walked into my parents room and told them we were not happy with them at the moment haha. We kept saying that the plan all along was to leave us behind!

Me and Daniel got ready in 5 minutes, by 6:20 the car was packed and we were driving out of our complex!

We stopped at Cracker Barrel in Ft. Pierce, which is our about half-way point

One of the ONLY pictures you'll see of my parents, so I had to post it

I have a gorgeous best friend don't I? Just to warn you all, there will be many pictures of us with some weird faces, it's hard for the 3 of us to take normal pictures lol. Before I took this picture Daniel was saying how we needed to decide on our food faster because we have some dates with a mouse, I know why he's my best friend!

One last picture before 3 full sized teenagers cram into the backseat of a Kia! It was a tight drive, but it was worth it

Da Loop! On our last trip for Daniel and I's graduation, Me and Daniel drove my mom's car and my parents drove Ashley and her friend in another car. Daniel screamed out DA LOOP when we drove past the loop, so now we always have to take a picture of the sign. And it means we're close to WDW

The time has finally arrived!! Fantasyland Preview time I'm warning you all, I took pictures of EVERYTHING so this will probably be multiple posts but it was so great so I had to take so many pictures



Day 3: Fantasyland Passholder Preview:



We all awoke from our naps excitedly, I woke up and jumped on the bed and screamed "FANTASYLAND LETS GO!!!!!!!!!" We all got dressed back into our Mickey- dye and jeans and we were out by 4:55, 10 minutes lol.


We took the boat to MK, got off and asked a CM where we had to get our wristbands for the preview, he told us TTC, which is where we thought we had to go to. But then we saw a line at one of the docks and asked what it was for, they had moved the preview check in there, which we were happy about. We checked in and got our wristbands

Now imagine this; 3 teenagers pretty much running through MK talking about how excited they are for Fantasyland, we got some funny looks, but we got to the back of the castle in record time.



This next picture I took for my sister, she has this ridiculous fear of cranes, so you can only imagine how freaked out all the Seven Dwarf's construction got her. haha

We then saw the castle walls in the distance

They really are beautiful, I love them, I've read some things how people don't think they make sense in the middle of FL, I liked them where they were. I can't wait to see how everything fits together once the walls come down

I tried to take a picture of what we were about to experience while we were walking, it's not the best, but hey it gets the message through.


Finally we saw the entrance

They checked our wristbands, and paper and we were in!!!!!


And let the pictures begin...

Belle's cottage

A sign lol. I was really excited, everything looked amazing to me

This man walked right infront of me while I was taking a picture and stood there for 5 minutes, I said excuse me... it didn't work.... even he couldn't ruin my great mood, except for his bald head, I liked the picture so we kept moving



We were just exploring at this point, wanting to see everything. We made it to the town square and we saw something rare, Gaston! Doing meet and greets, so we got into line. Then a CM came up and said "there is no line for Gaston, you surround him and he chooses you if he deems you worthy" I thought that was great lol. Daniel idolizes Gaston in a way so we had to take pictures with him.



He chose me first

I did have a tiny problem with the costume... his pants were like bright green and looked like felt, the man was sweating like a pig, his face was glistening lol, but the actor was great, it really felt like I was meeting the real Gaston.


He then chose Ashley

I have no idea why, but I have no pictures of Daniel with Gaston, which is kinda sad because Daniel loves him. When Daniel was chose, I told Gaston that Daniel idolizes him, he said "Well who doesn't? But, as we both know, you can never be as great as the real Gaston." The whole crowd was cracking up. He was perfect!



After that, Ashley became our photographer again. We wanted pictures with the fountain. But, of course they're silly ones

This next one was Ashley's idea..

I'm not short enough to do what LeFou was doing, but you get the idea lol. Oh the things I do for my friend

I do love the detail in the fountain, especially the plaque. This land is just amazing with all the detail

I'm scared to see the crowds too, especially at pretty much all the parks, on Dec. 6 at MK, Fantasyland opens, at HS, the new Jack Sparrow thing opens, and at Epcot, Test Track opens, all on the same day! and I'm there 5 days after that.

Oh man!!! I was not even thinking about those 2 attractions. Crap there is literally something NEW openinh up at EVERY park but AK. Now I am super nervous about the crowds!

Well, hopefully it'll be only crowded at those areas and the rest of the parks will have smaller crowds. I've been to WDW around that time of year before and it wasn't bad at all, it's before the Christmas rush so hopefully we'll be ok

Fingers Crossed. We have been there the 1st week in Dec a few times. This is the latest in Dec we have ever gone. I'm thinking crowds will be a little bigger then in years past but still mangable. Here's hoping that is the case anyway!

We are finally to the Ariel portion of my TR!!!!





But first, this will probably be my last post until either Monday or Sunday, I work in retail so you all can only imagine the week I'm going to be having. I work until midnight tonight, and then 12 hours on black friday then another 8 on saturday, so if I don't post I apologize in advance But all these hours are going to the paycheck I'm bringing to Disney in 19 days


So back to the TR!



After we all met Gaston and took some goofy pictures, I demanded that we go see MY castle haha. When we finally approached it I was in awe

It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





As I said in a post before, I love Ariel, but this isn't a new thing, I was obsessed with the Little Mermaid when I was younger. I had the Disney Sing a Longs on VHS and I watched the Beach Party at WDW every single day for at least a year. I had a hula outfit and everything for the hula portion of it. My favorite part was always when all the girls got to sit with Ariel on the beach and sing "Part of You World" And everytime we went to WDW I would look for Ariel on the beach of the hotels, of course I never found her, but my parents still talk about it... haha But, yeah I love her so I was beyond excited for this

I made Daniel take a picture of me.. if you can't tell, I'm like jumping from excitement

More pictures! I warned you all, I took TOO MANY pictures

The whole time in line Daniel and I kept pointing out things we want for our future house or apartment lol

I wanted these lol

I'm pretty sure I almost screamed, but I contained myself and said quietly "That's the Kiss the Girl boat!" haha, they didn't even notice it until I pointed it out

The que is so pretty, with all the waterfalls

There were Scuttle tracks all the way in the que leading you to the ride! I loved that idea

At this point in line, Daniel said that he couldn't wait to take the Be Our Guest tour, and a guy in front of us in line said "You can eat there tonight." and of course I said "No you cant, they aren't going to start dining there until November 21, I think" Well he then said "They decided to test run it tonight, go up to someone at the desk and ask for a reservation, but they might be full by now." Daniel flipped out and almost jumped into the water, Beauty and the Beast is his favorite movie. So we decided to check after the ride, did we get reservations? You'll just have to wait and find out

Now this next picture irritated me...

Someone already stole a starfish!! lol. You could see where flecks of it were left there from being ripped off. Everyone around us in line was like "Really? Already? It just opened for previews!" How dare someone haha

I'm finally back guys!!


Well.. Black Friday weekend at work was... insane. But hey, it's all going to the Disney paycheck as I like to call it


So back to Fantasyland!

We were still in line for Journey of the Little Mermaid, and I was still taking pictures like a mad woman

I love how WDW is starting to have more interactive ques, they make the time go by lol.

The detail for this whole que is great

So, after what was like 30 minutes of walking very slowly with the pace of the line, where everyone else was also taking pictures of everything, we eventually were told to go ahead of this group of people cause they wanted pictures well... they were the ones holding up the line! We stopped taking pictures and walked faster and got to the actual loading area and NO ONE was there, no one in front of us on Seashells. Daniel and I got into one, and we expected Ashley to be behind us, nope this couple skipped her even after seeing we were all together, I almost went big sister on them!!!!!!



I'm pretty sure they regretted sitting there after they got off because the minute I sat down, 18 year old Jess went out the window and arrived 5 year old Jess.... haha

Now one of the coolest parts of the ride was in the beginning, you turn backwards and you go "underwater" and bubbles are projected onto the back of the seashell, it's so cool.

I wanted to take the Eric statue home with me lol

In a way I kinda thought this part looked like the Emerald City... lol


And here comes the major 5 year old part... the "Under the Sea" scene. I was leaning so far forward in the shell and kept slapping Daniel's arm saying "Daniel look!" and pointing at everything lol. What can I say? I love Ariel..

No more Dole Whip head!

This one made me laugh, I always loved that scene in the movie lol.

I'm doing 2 posts back to back so I can get caught up, we leave in exactly 2 weeks for our next trip and I wanna get this one done and start our PTR for the next one soon lol

When we saw these guys I said "It's us Daniel!" haha he agreed

The Ursula was AMAZING.

That part was so cool too

Even when I was little King Triton confused me... he's old but has such an amazing body lol.

I loved the ride, but at this part their eyes are HUGE!!!!!! Did they really have to be that big???

My review on the ride: I adored it! So did Ash and Daniel. It showcased the story very well and was just fun in general.

As a west coaster, I like the Little Mermaid ride. There's hardly any wait, plus it has fantastic air conditioning which is great when it's warm.

Fantasyland Cont:


Once we got off TLM, I wanted to take a picture in front of it.

I love the photo opportunity here, its so pretty


Here's a little vent: a mom was letting her 5 boys climb all over these rocks, after a CM asked them to get off atleast 3 times while I was trying to take a picture, one even got right next to me. I was like "Umm, can you please stop, I"m trying to take a picture" The mom just stood there watching!!! Finally a CM said to the boys and the mom "They need to get off, or else we will have to escort you out of New Fantasyland" She got all mad and walked off with her boys Yay Disney!!!!


After I finally got my picture without some kid in it, we were off to BOG to see about eating there.


We walked up to a really nice CM named Michael, we asked him about a reservation, and he told us he'd check. He walked back and asked if 8:45 was alright we said "Of course!" before he could even finish the sentence. I then asked why they decided to open it tonight, it wasn't scheduled to open until late November. He gave me this look like "Wow, you know your WDW" haha, and then went on to explain to us in character how they havent served in over 10 years and were dying to. Then told us how he was a rug for the 10 years. I loved him!!!! haha



After we were told that we were eating at BOG that night we all took a picture of each other's ermahgerd faces

Daniel was ecstatic, Belle's his favorite lol

After that, we called my parents to let them know and while Ash was on the phone with my mom Daniel and I took some Photopass pictures

The photographer was great Ash wouldn't take a picture, so he took one of her on the phone

Now, I guess the photographer, just like pretty much everyone else in the world, thought Daniel and I were dating because he said "Alright, since you guys are each others prince and princess, lets do a princess/prince pose." We were like uh... ok haha.

Then Ash took some pictures while I talked to my mom
