The Steaks of Disney

Hi there Everybody!

First I wanted to thank Steve for providing a forum such as this! It makes a great addition to the site that is for sure. I have been visiting WDWMAGIC for quite awhile now. This is the first chance I have had to join the forums. Look forward to posting and reading a lot! Now let's talk Disney Dining for a moment shall we?

Having been a Cast Member at WDW for almost three years, I had the chance to visit many of our favorite restaurants at WDW. In doing so I have had the chance to run by some great steak entres (my favorite)...including Le Cellier Steakhouse's offerings as well as the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary Resort.

Now I turn to my fellow forum readers...Any of you have any other suggestions for a wondersful steak dinner at WDW? I know I am missing at least 1 or 2 good places around the world...Fill me in!

yeah awhole lot freindlier on here!! But beware there is alot of humor on here so dont take it the wrong way! We have alot of fun on here! It was a wild day on the mailing list yesterday!

Oh BTW Jay usually doesn't eat in restaurants, he tend's to scavange behind washing machines!

Thanks for the friendly replies everybody. For a moment there I got the same chills I get when I gaze at Spaceship Earth in the night time hours...

Washing machine eh? what? I am sure there is a long story behind that

lol very long story! I'll tell u about it soon! Marky tends to bring it up to new members! U have to kept ur eye on marky and a few other memebers on here! Feel free to check out the cht chat section to talk about whatever! We have to good of a time in there as well! Steves thinks were crazy and he's right! :sohappy:

The steaks at LeCellier and The Concourse Steakhouse are very good. I'm a steak lover so I make an effort to try differant places when I'm at the World.

You might want to try the ESPN Club at Disney's Boardwalk. I had a steak there on my last trip and it was Great. It's a little noisy there with all the TV's going but I'm a sports enthusiast so I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the steak.:slurp:

Great Steak @ WDW

This is my first post as well! I have never had a steak @ WDW, but I have had one @ a Shula's Steak House - just not the one in the Dolphin. The steak there was incredible - excellent preparation and meat quality. The wine list was fairly extensive as well, but be warned - I believe it is ala carte and EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE as I remember. Overall though, it should be a nice splurge if you go that route.

Yachtsman Steakhouse

If you have the money, Yachtsman steakhouse has the most wonderful meat in all of WDW. It rivals Shula's, and I think it is better. You can't even walk by the place without having your mouth water. I would prefer a good pasta or seafood, but if I decide it is steak that I want, I head to Yachtsman. Le Cellier is a good alternative, less expensive, but not as good.

The best steaks aren't in Disney, the ones in Daryl's make Disney's steaks look like Mac Donalds burgers:hurl:

Hmm, Daryl's, where is that located? I am always on the lookout for a good steak, although I don't know how yachtsman could be beat.

There is one in Kissimmee Old Town, close to Wild Bills. Another on International Drive on the opposite side to the big FAO toyshop just slightly furher down, try one. You won't be disappointed.:slurp:

Now if you wanna talk steaks OFF property, I can turn you on to some places in Texas, New Orleans, Chicago...oh wait..now I'M doing it...hahaha

I really enjoyed the filet minion at The Bistro de Paris. It is the small restaurant above chefs du france. It was one of the best steaks that I have ever had. Like you steve I have tried steaks all over WDW and I like them all. Actually come to think about it I have never had a bad meal at WDW.
