I have always been very facinated with the way Walt Disney Imaginnering sets up there theme park audio within the theme parks. From the way the disguise there speakers inside the lamp post to hidden speakers within shrubs, I have been capitivated in the way Disney creates there sound from every area inside the park.

I agree completely. I had an interesting experience once. I was sitting next to a planter in Adventureland and I was hearing crickets chirping and birds that sounded far in the distance. When I started to "look" around, I discovered that it was coming from inside the planter.

Those Imagineers are quite creative. I love it!

The sounds of the haunted mansion outside, trains, boats. The sounds outside explains why we stay at the Contempary Resort,If you ever stayed there you know what I mean.

What stuck out most from my childhood trips was the howling that came from the HM in the morning. We always stayed at poly in a lagoon view which back then you could see that castle, not just some random water. My mom and I use to stand on the balcony and listen for it every morning.

The Poly is also a good spot to hear Spectro and the music loops that play during events at the Kingdom in the evening. I laid swinging in the hammock one even and just listened to the Halloween party and parade music.

Our favorite resort is Beach Club...............and one of the many reasons we choose to stay there is the sound system throughout the landscaping and gardens. Walking to EPCOT from BC on the path next to the canal is really nice with the flowers and music...............

one of the best experiences i have heard regarding sounds was playing golf in disney world. If you love disney world and play golf you have to do them both. while playing you can see the castle in the background and hear the trains and boats.

when i went on the keys to the kingdom i was fascinated! they way when it merges into a different land, the music comes out louder from the one you entering to put you in that mindset already

Background music to me is one of my favorite things about any theme park, specifically Disney. They do such a great job of blending the music into the setting, and when you transition from one area of the park to the other, it immediately sets the mood. I love having the park loops on my computer, I listen to them constantly.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE

Disney truly knows how to do it right. So many parks try to match them but they can't touch them. Simply can't.

I'll never forget the year I was in the bathrooms next to SM. While I'm washing my hands I swear I hear what sounds like Stitch coming from the vents. My husband thought I was crazy until we got home from our trip and saw someone post something about it on here. I thought it was so creative and something not everyone gets to hear.

Background music has always been my favorite. Listening to the loops on my ipod always brings me back to a certain day/time/memory. Last time my parents visited, I made them hold up the phone on Main Street so I could hear the music.

I think one of my favorite things about the background music and such is just how things flow into each other. Case in point; the music around World Showcase. When I look at video footage we have, the transition between music from France to Morocco is just seamless. Also the immersion into the theme of each area you visit is enhanced by the music.

We recently stayed at the WL and the music, even though it was Christmas music, just put you in such a great mood and really kicked off your day. I have the non-holiday loop of music on my iPod and I just love it. I can't wait to go back so I can *really* hear it! :)
