Imagineerial Diary: Year Two Thousand and Thirty Two. Sixth Moon.
The battle for the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe was over a decade ago. Since then, there has been harmony, but also, no innovation. As the world's colorful spirit began to fade, a figure emerged from the shadows of the darkened Fantasyland Forest Black Cauldron attraction at the Magic Kingdom: The Horned King. Manipulating the lovable Figment to do his bidding, the Horned King turned Figment into his gargoyle with the use of the Sorcerer's Hat, and began to transform the desolate parks overnight.

And Dreamfinder said...nothing. He has not been the same as he watched his beloved Figment turn the universe into darkness from his tower at Belle's Castle.

But the shadows of The Horned King have not cast over all the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe yet, as a band of mercenaries will work together to save Figment and bring imagination back in...

The Horned Eclipse​

The Sorcerer's Hat represents the imaginative consciousness of the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe. Gifted to the winner of each season to do with what they please, many times the hat has been passed along from generation to generation. So when Dreamfinder felt the hat's presence as it rolled upon Saludos Beach at Disneyland Brazil, he figured that the game was back on. But little did he know that its presence at Disneyland Brazil would summon such dark spirits to take over the land.

While enjoying Adventureland, some of the imagineers felt the rumble as well.

"I promise that wasn't me, it's not my time to cause chaos yet" @Chaos Cat exclaimed

As the group began to make their way over to Saludos Beach, a rumble and thunder with ominous music could be heard in the background.



Seeing that the Horned King had escaped his dark ride in the Magic Kingdom some in the group rolled their eyes as they have dealt with villains before, but newcomers were a bit nervous...

"Hey @PerGron why did you have to develop a dark ride about one of the scariest villains in Disney history?!" @Architectural Guinea Pig asked "I was hoping for a happy first season"

"Don't worry AGP, we have dealt with worse villains before..." @Outbound reassured

"Plus we have a Hulk" @AceAstro stated

"HULK SMASH HORNED KI-" *Thump*

With his horrific glare, The Horned King silenced the Hulk with a stroke of his fingers as eerie green light began to be removed from Hulk as he became Grey Hulk and The Horned King absorbed his power.

"Enough... of this" The Horned King demanded. "I have waited for this moment..."

Thunder and lightning clashed and a dark shadow was cast over Disneyland Brazil

"This universe has gotten out of control...too much imagination, too much autonomy, too many contradictions" The Horned King continued

"But that's what makes it fun" @Pi on my Cake

"Silence you slimey Skipper" The Horned King retorted "This is all your fault"

"Wow that was a bit excessive, I'm going to pretend that didn't insult me" Pi continued "so 'Horney' King you do realize that I have had the Sorcerer's Hat in the Citrus Dreamin' universe since winning Season 7 for safe keeping and I delivered it to Space in a box that can't be opened"

"Well..." @TheOriginalTiki noted "It opened..." As they all looked at Saludos Beach to see the Sorcerer's Hat lying on the sand, when a gargoyle like figure went to go pick it up.

"Is that Creeper?!" @NateD1226 shrieked "Oh no...wait... Figment?!"

"I needed an apprentice for my quest to rid the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe of its ilk, and build it back from the ground up" The Horned King explained "Figment has been a loyal companion as I have already conquered Disneyland Brazil"

Dreamfinder came down from Belle's Castle to see what his lovable friend had morphed into. He stool in silence as the world around him turned to darkness.

"Dreamfinder...do something!" @JokersWild pleaded.

Grey Hulk turned to the group of imagineers...."It's 2032, Hulk know place that Horned King don't"

"I think I know where you're talking about" @Disney Dad 3000 responded "It's our own creation, but hopefully not our last..."​

Moving To Mumbai

"Wow what an achievement by all these imagineers" @Earlie the Pearlie cheered "we need to try to replicate this"

"Maybe not right away" @MickeyWaffleCo. responded "Perhaps we start with 20 page projects before moving to 100+!"

As the group of imagineers made their way to Mumbai via the Disney Adventure, Hulk had known this wouldn't have been touched by The Horned King because the expansion plan that won him Season 6 had just recently completed and wouldn't have been known to their adversary yet.

"We have enough hotels for all the teams too" @CookieMouse stated "I was reading about them! I wonder where we will stay!"​

The players were divided into three distinct Houses to start the game.

Three Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe characters had been able to escape The Horned King's grasp and seclude in Mumbai to serve as the mascots for their respective houses.

As the teams settled in to their hotels at Disneyland Mumbai, there were some rumblings as to what the first project may be.

"I have gone on all these Disneyland attractions" @WaltWiz1901 exclaimed "This was a hidden gem location for a theme park"

"For sure" @Pi on my Cake responded "Mumbai is a great city, there is a lot of potential here for an Orlando2, which I already started!"

The night before the games began, the teams took a final ride on Small World: One Song, the newest rendition of it's a small world, exclusive to Disneyland Mumbai.

"Speaking of small world" @Tegan pilots a chicken stated "Remember last season when we went into multiple different competition worlds?" Everyone else on the teams began to look started

"Yeah, that was fun, but one world is enough for this season" @ThemeParkPriest explained (The narrator agreed)

"But..." Tegan replied "I remember getting lost in the So, You Want To Be An Imagineer Universe, and I came across a peculiar theme park that was never completed, what's World of Wonders?"

"Ah" @D Hulk chimed in "The never completed blue sky second gate for Universal Australia, there is an outline for it but not much more."

The teams listen as D Hulk describes this Blue Sky project. Suddenly, as the teams are disembarking and heading back to the resorts, Mr. Boss, aka @TheOriginalTiki runs over to a landline phone to receive an urgent message.

"Uh huh, yep, okay" Tiki says frantically "yeah sure" and hangs up the phone

"Teams, I just got a call from a young man who sounded absolutely distressed" Tiki continues "Can we all head over and help him before he goes KOO-KOO, KOO-KOO!"

"Who was the young man?" @Earlie the Pearlie

"He worked for Universal Creative" Tiki said "Apparently, Tegan is right, there is a dangling multiverse timeline that needs to be corrected, and we can't go to any other Disney Parks now because The Horned King is on the loose. Don't fret...it's just a little....friendly competition..."

"I'm excited and nervous at the same time!" @dreamfinding replied "I 'wonder' what happens next..."​

Disneyland Mumbai served as the first major theme park located in India, paving the way for competition to swoop in. After the success of Epic Universe, Universal Creative set their ambitions to this new prime theme park destination...

Your task is to design Universal's Worlds of Wonder, as a brand-new park in Mumbai, India themed entirely to literature-based IPs

Tips and Tricks
- You may use any Universal IP that is based on a book (fiction or non-fiction)
- You may also obtain the 'license' for any other films by other studios that are based on books (fiction or non-fiction). Universal is truly pulling out all the stops for this Worlds of Wonder park.
- This park is intended to be on the scale of Epic Universe and rival Disneyland Mumbai, don't be afraid to dream big!
- While everyone is on the same 'team' and there are no eliminations this round, there are aspects of the project that will help break down the team into smaller roles depending on interests/availability.

Sample Teams May Include:
Team Big Picture: Forming what IPs to be included in the park
Team Map Making: Designing the layout of the park
Team Music: Designing the background music for the park
Team Artwork: Shaping how the park will aesthetically look
Team Presentation: Designing how the project will be presented
Teams 'Etc': Any further player breakdowns as needed

- Last tip but certainly not least, stand-out performances in this project will be awarded prizes that may shape the season going forward! (Prizes to be explained in a following post)

And the ultimate goal of this project? Everyone playing in this Book will be guaranteed to leave a legacy in the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe for years to come with this lower-stakes, introductory project. Hope you enjoy!
