Has anyone here done a Disney Cruise? Love it? Hate it? Worth it?

I have! I went on their Alaskan cruise not too long ago, and I highly recommend it. I believe the Disney Wonder ship is the smallest of the how ever many ships they have (I feel like there is a new one every year), but it was still quite the experience. Beautiful views throughout the whole voyage, as you are surrounded by land practically the entire time. Alaska itself was a nice little place to visit, nothing too crazy but it had a lot of charm and such gorgeous landscapes. Definitely a place you want to visit at least once in your life!!

I did the Disney Dream 4 day out of Port Canaveral twice - once before kids and once with my kids. We had a great time both as adults visiting the ship and with our kids. Is it worth the cost? I took an 8-day Carnival cruise for less than the 4-day Disney Cruise (both balcony rooms) and had a great time there as well. As for worth, it depends on what you want- In both cruises, we had excellent service, excellent kids clubs (I prefer Carnival for my kids), spaces that worked well (Disney spaces were nicer), and they took us places. Disney, you sail for the ship not so much the Destination (unless that destination is Castaway Cay).

Well, I have some new projects for a new Disney park based entirely on World History and World Mythology/Folklore! Here they are:
Hamilton Square (The consequence of having a theatre kid for a brother, this area is themed to the hit musical Hamilton by Lin Manuel Miranda)
DUAT (An attraction (not sure what kind yet) based on the Ani's Book Of The Dead, which can be found within The British Museum)
Journey Through The Ancient Americas (An open-air walkthrough taking guests through the Aztec, Maya, and Inca cultures)
Pompeii (An open air walkthrough replica of Pompeii)
The Labyrinth Of Minos (A walkthrough labyrinth themed to Greek mythology)

Better than I thought it would be. It manages to keep the spirit of the orignal pretty well. Even the Disney did managed to feel right at home... for the most part. ("Whole New World" straight up did not belong, and it leading to Teddi's part getting cut down did not help.) Special shout-out to having Fixer-Upper be the obligatory Frozen song - it's one of the few songs from that movie that haven't been milked to death and it fits the Country Bears to a T.

The new, polished looks for the character is... ehh. I like the idea that this is meant to be the Country Bears after years of success; feels very much like a follow-up to the orignal, which is nice. But at the same time... I don't know, it just feels a bit too "Coperate Country" to me.

If I were to suggest a replacement song, I think Beauty and the Beast would be a good fit for obvious reasons.

Ok everyone, what do we think of the new Country Bear Jamboree.
I hate it. I like that the animatronics look great, but Country Bears was and is one of those attractions that I adored and had to do every trip (sometimes multiple times) and they took out all the charm and wittiness of the original. It went from a must do to a skip
