Hm I'd say go for it so you could say you've seen it unless you plan on spending that day differently and USJ would disrupt it
That's the problem. I'm debating taking it easy.. Maybe I can get a ticket and go do the rides I haven't than go relax than go back for the night show. Idk. I have a big day the next few days so not sure, lol.. My fear is I struggle to stay at Universal a Full day in Orlando..

Also I'd like to thank this forum because it has turned the Prequels into comedies. I tried to watch Episode III earlier on TV and just laughed through the whole thing :hilarious: Every 5 minutes is a meme

I'm guessing if Nintendo World was complete this would be a different conversation haha -- I remember @D Hindley saying it gets packed and it is one of the top attended theme parks, so it might be a Magic Kingdom situation where it isn't even worth it because of crowds

Soo True!!! But at the same time I would love to experience Jaws and Waterworld, which I believe are still there. So it's like ugh haha

Ugh. I'm really debating if I want to go to Universal Studios Osaka... I'm not sure there is enough difference to keep my attention all day

Yeah, they still have Jaws and Waterworld. The other unique doable things (not counting low-capacity “The Real” stuff) are The Flying Dinosaur (maybe the world’s best flying coaster), Space Fantasy (anime Space Mountain) and Hollywood Dream (their meh RRR). Also HHN happens all day long there.

Just doing each of those once via single rider would take 1/2 day with the crowds I saw. And be warned, USJ doesn’t do ticketed reentry from what I can tell, making their CityWalk useless.

An alternate plan for that day, if you’re game, is taking the Shinkansen 20 minutes east to Kyoto - assuming you need more time there. Osaka is pretty dull in the daytime, but I’d absolutely recommend wandering Dotonburi at night.

Your right. They do not take in re-entry into account.. Also can I say how mad I am that Space Fantasy is closed for the year I really wanted to try that. Right now I'm leaning towards Universal Studios but instead take it as a relaxation vision. Maybe show up around 11 and just enjoy the food. I do wanna ride Hollywood Dream (backwards though) and Flying Dinosaur (just to say i've done it.. it's actually my least favorite form of coaster.. I can't wear my glasses on them).

But I really wanna do Jaws and Waterworld, also I want to see the Nighttime Parade. Also I'm curious to how different their merch is.

The go back to Kyoto idea is an option. Considering I'm not seeing the Golden Pavilion (I'm hiking a mountain instead)

Are you hiking the 10,000 Gates?

Space Fantasy is closed?!:cry: What’s the point then?!

Doing single rider (90 minute wait in afternoon, 4 hour standby), Hollywood Dream gives you no choice between forward or backward. I got forward.

Food is better in Osaka than in USJ, unless there’s someplace you want to try.

The coolest unique thing about USJ are the guests. Especially with HHN, many of them will be in costume. The same goes for Tokyo Disneyland, but their guest costumes are more adorable and less gore-soaked. You might have fun simply wandering USJ.

BTW, Osaka’s Dontonbori has impromptu J-Pop street performers... ;):inlove:

I know!!!

Yep I'm hiking Fushimi Inari in the early morning like 6am..

From there I'm going to Kibune and Kurama to hike the trail between the two

J-pop Street Performers. Be still my heart! I'm excited about the Food in OSAKA, but your right I'm thinking I'll really enjoy comparing USJ to the other parks I've been. Plus people dress up! That's epic.

I always seem to hike Fushimi Inari around sundown, so there’s never been a chance to do those additional trails - which sound enchanting. Still, climbing down the mountain in the quiet nighttime surrounded by animist statues all staring, that is a gloriously creepy experience.

BTW, I’m actually out hiking right now, through the Angeles National Forest trails behind my house!
