Apparently ether red doesn’t love me or my final project was sooo terrible that it didn’t deserve a review :(

Project Mars Pavilion

I was wondering if you would do an EPCOT project! This is something that is big! Maybe a little too big, but gives Mission: Space a more important purpose than what it is today.

That's what I like about this project, it adds purpose to Future World East, and makes the Wonders of life relevant again.

Your detail and descriptions have really improved over the course of the season, brilliant! I know you're busy but at full strength it would have been awesome to see some Sketch-up work to go with this project. To me that's what it really needed to push it over the top! A great idea, that needs some added elements to be more custom. Some of the images, especially of just the old WoL, didn't do as good of a job as say the Microverse at immersing me in the setting.

An EMV at Epcot is neat! And I like the SpaceX tie in, I think you separated yourself enough from Dinosaur for it co-exist as well. The Matt Damon cameo was pretty good, though in the end I don't think he served as much of a purpose as he could have.

The ambition in this one was the standout. While it might be too big, you did what you're passionate about and that's all that we could ask for! It would be a welcome addition to the current day park for sure!

And the extra bonus areas within the Wonders of Life do a great service to an otherwise empty building. Great job!

Invasion of the Heartless

I think Kingdom Hearts is a brilliant choice for Tokyo Disneyland! I think it fits incredibly well.

The site choice was wonderful. I would have liked to see how this changed the future Tokyo Disneyland Expansions, rather than a short mention. Consuming the Traverse town setting indoors was a brilliant move – completely needed for Tokyo’s weather. I like how you used that to your advantage, such as the night sky effects.

The attraction alone has a wonderful storyline in tied in magnificently with the game. I think the interactive component really set it over the edge, and I can truly see this as a way TDLR would try to compete with Nintendoland.

I loved the Keyblade shop! I think that was absolutely brilliant!

Overall, the unique aspects took me to this being a “new” classic for the TDLR crowd, as it centers itself in contemporary interactive features of a “new classic” videogame storyline.

Modern Times on Main Street USA
This project really felt like it was your project through and through. Haha and I have to congratulate you for the forum’s top troll job for a proposal! As soon as I opened it, I was completely in fear of opening and dissecting an 84-page project.

Professor Marvelous seemed like a true Disney Parks character in all aspects. Personally, an artistic drawing of him would have helped further his description more immensely in the presentation. Some of the illustrations were nice, but some sort of similar picture would have been nice visuals.

I truly enjoyed the attraction – I think it evoked Main Street incredibly well and used the bypass to its full potential (to add even more capacity on New Year’s Eve).

Music was in the forefront of this presentation as well, I really enjoyed that element of the project.

Overall, this project was, well thought out, or in Disney U terms, very intentional. Everything in this concept had a purpose, and expanded the lore of Main Street much more than it has in any Disney Park in the past. Amazing work!

@AceAstro, I’ve barely had time to respond to anything so far, been rushing around CP so hard. But again congrats on a tightly won victory against our many excellent submissions! That you made a Frozen ride which doesn’t entirely enrage me (despite axing Toontown) is itself a minor miracle. The use of Marc Davis’ Enchanted Ice Palace was inspired. The fake website presentation might’ve been the real icing (get it? :hilarious:) on the cake. Great work! It’s been a pleasure working with you.

I guess since I won I have to keep paying for this website, eh? o_Oo_Oo_O

If anyone ever wants something posted on a website, let me know. I own AceAstro.ca until June 19, 2019!
We should copy/paste your project along with some screenshots of the site so its always saved if the site payments go away!

We didn't do that for a few sites in the past and especially if someone 3 years from now wants to see the winning project, we have a backup just in case :bookworm:
