That sounds about rightish.. The Gold isn't bad if you actually go alot which I do. It's just painful when your in the middle of saving for a big vacation lol.
I do go a lot, but gold is a 100 more dollars with only the addition of the entire summer time being unblocked. Which already is a time I like to avoid due to heat and crowds. So not much of a benefit for me as I like to go for three day trips sporadically throughout the year.

I agree with you on the savings part; the only way I can go to Disney World with my mom is if I go this year, as next ahe is saving up for California and Disneyland.

Oh boy oh boy, you’re going to Japan!!!:p

What are your plans regarding airfare, time of year, lodging and sightseeing?
Right now, I have the first three weeks of September penned in, landing in Tokyo on Sept 1 and leaving Sept 21st.
I plan on spending 4 days in Tokyo, than pop over to Nikko (Maybe this might change), than I have two open days before I was thinking about being in Kyto for 3 days, than Osaka for 2. From Osaka I plan on spending a day in Nara and than going up and spending a day in night in Koyasan (Mount Koya). Following that I will head to Hiroshima for two days, than a day heading to Disneyland (with a half day shopping in Tokyo) and than 3 full days in Tokyo Disneyland before flying out.

It's a rough plan and needs to be flushed out a bit, esp since I'm considering moving things around to do Himeji and Kurashiki. I also wanted to do tottori but I don't believe I have enough time.

Do you have any recommendations?

As for Airfare, I was hoping to Fly JAL or ANA and have a rough estimate of the cost..

Lodging will be mixed. I'm aiming for the Hilton at Disneyland, a tradition Inn atleast once and a temple at Koyasan. I was gonna try to spend some time in a capsule hotel, but I'm finding decent hotels at a fair price (Cheaper than America) in many of the cities. But I am open to recommendations.

This is a solid plan. September is a good time to visit for weather and crowds and prices. You should absolutely get the Japan Rail Pass (order it to be delivered to your home before leaving), which covers all bullet train travel between cities for a single price. One other site I’d recommend (and you’ll be visiting many I’ve not been to) would be Ise Shrine, which can be done as a day trip out from Kyoto. Your hotel variety is good too. If prices are a concern, maybe consider an Air BnB at some point. That might give you more trave flexibility.

I start searching for airfare with this Google matrix software. Play with it a bit with different dates and all airlines. From LA, I can often fine roundtrip Asia flights for $500-$600. Good luck with your trip planning!

I'm actually surprised on Hotel Cost, I was prepared for about $200 a day for Hotel and Food but it's look like it might be more around the $120 a day range if not lower.. I'm finding alot of hotels in Hiroshima for $70 a night. They arn't 5 Star, but 3 stars enough for somewhere to sleep.

I'll check that flight matrix, right now my flight is looking like ~1600 from Orlando to Tokyo.

I'll have to watch these tonight

My favorite part of Journey into Your Imagination is when guests look at a mirror and the narrator saying (I'm paraphrasing) "Ah, let's see what imagination we have.... welp there's nothing going on upstairs! That's just what we need for our demonstration"

Perfect summation of the ride:p

The designers deciding the riders had no imagination was the biggest wasted opportunity of all time.
Like I get the imagineers had a low budget, but they could have seriously at least not have insulted the riders or have come up with a better plot.
Heck superstar limo had a better plot.

Is it sad that I have a similar plan for my Tokyo/Hong Kong/Disneyland trip several years from now?

@D Hindley I need some opinions, so I revamped my schedule and I was hoping to get opinions on it from the aspect of someone who has been to Japan.

Land in Japan in spent 5 days in Tokyo with a day trip in Mt. Takoa and possibly other areas.
- 3 Days in Kyoto with a day trip to Nara (I am also going to do the Train Museum)
- 1 Day in Osaka
- 1 Day in Koyasan
- 2 days in Himeji
- 1 day in Okayama
- 1 day in Kurashiki
- 2 days in hiroshima (with a day trip to Miyajima)
- 1 day to get from Hiroshima to Tokyo Disneyland with shoping in Tokyo and the mall at TDR.
- 3 days in Tokyo Disneyland
- Fly out.
