I would have assumed Memorial Day too -- it just makes sense but the good news is going in June they have to have some sort of soft opening so you should be able to get in!

Maybe. Just more of a PITA probably then it being open. We are on property for 4 of the days so was hoping that would help us snag a few FP.
Guess will have to stay on top of any communication about previews. I know pandora wasnt exactly smooth in that regard.
Can only imagine the posts to come on that thread in N&R today the way the land itself has been consconstantly debated.

Never heard the pita acronym before -- but now I will never look at pita chips the same way.

It's baseball.. Nough said.
Here's a space fun fact of the day

I have a fascination for baseball history, especially old ball parks...I like it because it's the only major sport where the playable area changes based on which home field you're in.

Imagine if the Polo Grounds was still around today -- the right field foul pole was 258 ft -- that's smaller than some little league fields haha

Could you imagine Judge and Stanton in Polo Grounds?? Like that’d but unreal!

I think my favourite was an owner of some team (I think Kansas City) was annoyed about the short RF porch in Yankee Stadium but when the MLB wouldn’t allow him to move the fence in for his stadium he painted a line on the field that marked where the fence in Yankee stadium is. Every time a ball was hit over this line, he made the in-park announcer say “That would’ve been gone in New York.”

This didn’t last long as the announcer was saying it more for the opponent than the home team :p

Lol I think Fenway currently has the smallest dimensions down the right field line -- but in Yankee Stadium the porch is really what does it moreso than down the line.

Plus with it being short Judge can do this too:p

Your all wrong with you baseball obsession. You should be religiously following Mixed Doubles:

All joking aside that is an interesting fact. I did not know that about baseball.

Curling is great - also March Madness is coming up

Sadly my enjoyment of the NBA this year has been meh...when only 4 teams have a reasonable shot at the finals it kinda depletes the meaning of the regular season. I'll wait till June.

@AceAstro I just realized the Yankees and Blue Jays play on Opening Day in Toronto:D
I saw that!! I think that’ll be very exciting! Depending on how my final exam schedule lined up I may be going to a Jays vs. Yankees game in Yankee stadium this year!! See everyone boo Ganderson in person ;)

Never! It’s #1 on the list that I want to visit! I’ve never even been to New York but Yankees Stadium is a priority whenever I get there!
It's very cool! It's like a baseball mall haha -- there's restaurants, shops, monument park, all sorts of stuff -- Citi Field is also neat if you'd have time on a New York trip -- which is also close to Flushing Meadows and the old New York World's Fair location!

Nice! And once you get to college don't feel locked in to that major, if you like it that's great, but if you don't there are people who change their major as late as junior year and still graduate on time.

And haha making college choices based on how well they do in the tournament :hilarious: #dab
My friend decided between Michigan and Indiana based on who won the soccer cane. He is a proud Hoiser now.

Also, that’s why Michigan and Purdue are much higher on my list than U of I. At U of I , they said that you are basically locked into the major and can’t switch into other engineering ones very easily.

Yeah if you can I'd go to a school with some flexibility with majors, because you never know. U of I has like 40,000+ students right? That's shocking to me all of them are basically locked into majors

NBA has gotten depressing. I havent watched nearly as much as i used tounless Rockets/Warrriors/Bucks/OKC or maybe cle is playing. Doesnt help that my Hornets have greatly under achieved.

Depending on timing, March Madness might be in a world of hurt this year or next pending the Feds releasing the rest of their research.

Each has their own problems, but in a lot of ways their problems are very intertwined.
