Apologies for the delay, here's the next prompt.
Project Five: Meals on Wheels
Dining has always been an important part of the Disney experience, but no park is it more emphasized than Epcot. Between the highly themed hotspots like Garden Grill and Coral Reef in Future World to the multitude of options available in World Showcase the park has always been a staple for foodies. With this project you'll be taking the idea of Epcot as a food-centric theme park to the next level.
Purists: Your goal with this project will be to convert a pre-existing Epcot attraction into a dining experience. This can be either a ride or a show. The attraction and interior/exterior can be reworked to allow for such a thing to be implemented. The trick of this project will be in the system itself. Come up with a fun and creative experience that adds to the park's culinary offerings, and have it make sense from a logistics point of view with ordering, food distribution etc.
Innovators: The goal of this project will be to create a brand new attraction for Epcot that will double as a dining experience. It's a simple as that. This should be something beyond the concept of a dinner theater and much like the name of the project entails, should be a moving, "ride" based attraction. Once again the goal will be to come up with an innovative ride system that can cater to food service as well as providing a memorable culinary experience on top of a quality attraction.
Good luck, folks. Since this project is due Sunday, February 4th.
I'll also add that @D Hindley 's One Sentence Competition is due tonight! Open to anyone! Here is the prompt. Basically, either add some kind of dining experience to an already existing attraction in Epcot (I did a sample of fresh fruits and vegetables on Living with the land so you can taste what you see growing) or to make a new attraction that features a dining experience (someone did a new version of the Thing River Cruise in the Germany pavilion with a special dessert cruise at night).
And anyone can join if you are looking for something a bit more substantial as an imagineering exercise than just the question of the day.
ROUND 2 (aka controversial round #1)
ellen's energy adventure vs enchanted tiki room under new management
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
some similarities:
both were previous, non ip related attractions with ips added in
both used pop culture heavily
both became dated fast
both were great for air conditioning and naps
both were part of the start of Eisner's loss of touch
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now it's time to choose which attraction was better and redo the better attraction!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
round 2 ends:
I think we have everything covered nowWe also have the battle of the Bad Attractions round two ending in just three hours. This round you can either update or replace Universe of Energy or The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management. An exciting face off!
You beat me to the punch on this one lol. This round is to do a new show in Disneyland Paris!I'll also add that @D Hindley 's One Sentence Competition is due tonight! Open to anyone!

CHALLENGE 7
JULY
In July we celebrate independence! With fireworks and picnics, we gather together for a festival of patriotism to honor our ancestors who overthrew the yoke of European tyranny and created a new nation based on democracy. You guessed right, everybody, on July 14th we celebrate –
BASTILLE DAY
The French Revolution took direct inspiration from the American Revolution and reimagined it for a European audience. Disneyland Paris did similarly with Disneyland. Tony Baxter’s brilliant creative team redid Disney in a beautiful new European style. Sadly, the park has rarely updated, and presently neighboring Walt Disney Studio Paris requires more attention. With no major E-ticket additions in Disneyland Paris’s near future, how can it remain vital?
-Challenge-
How about a show? Let’s give Disneyland Paris a “must see” live show. It can be theatrical, fireworks, a parade, whatever would be a major draw. And if you can, give it European influences.
-Bonus-
With one additional sentence…hmmm…How about let’s also give Paris an all-new character meet ‘n’ greet. Doing so will net you an automatic extra point!
-Rules-
You may use between 1 and 3 sentences and up to 1 image. The deadline is Saturday, February 3rd, at midnight EST.
-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please!
-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it (generally) realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?
Good luck everyone! If you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask. Now go create!
Yes. I want more theming in my river rapids rides.I'm assuming this will have more than the Roaring Rapids ride in Shanghai?
I want to die
And I thought it was bad at 10 degrees lolLet's talk about the weather again today as it's so bad here I want to die.
Right now it is -4°F with it feeling like -20°F. It's been snowing all day. To the point where the major highway in the city (Quickest, fastest, and easiest way anywhere in the city) has been closed all day with it not likely to be open until later this evening/ at all...
So it's been a fun day in front of the fire all day lol
Want to trade? lolAnd I thought it was bad at 10 degrees lol
I don’t think that I wouldn’t have done the same, with the only addition being that I would've added Indian inspired artifacts and fossils of megafauna that once roamed Southern Asia to the queue, similar to Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.I think the idea of a conservation style water ride in DAK is a good idea - my issue with Kali though is that it's...boring.
The original design and name was Tiger River Rapids - and it would have been much longer and in-depth
Instead what we got was a ride that is essentially one splashdown and then coasting back to the station. If an unlimited budget was granted, I'd completely redo and expand the track layout back by the Maharajah Jungle Trek...maybe you can see actual Tigers and live animals on the attraction - sort of like Walt's original idea for the Jungle Cruise...and change the boats from being circular rafts to actual flume boats similar to the Jurassic Park ride. From early concept art it looks like it was an idea at first.
The essentials of the attraction would stay, but it would clock in at around 8-10 minutes, maybe go through a tiger temple of sorts for an indoor animatronic scenes, and then a splashdown that gets you wet, but doesn't completely drench you.
I agree! That would transition well to Nepal and Everest as well.I don’t think that I wouldn’t have done the same, with the only addition being that I would've added Indian inspired artifacts and fossils of megafauna that once roamed Southern Asia to the queue, similar to Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.
By the way, what were you having in mind with the AAs in the temple?I agree! That would transition well to Nepal and Everest as well.
DisneySky? You mean @D Hindley 's park? What is everyone’s thought on this? A rumoured third park for the Tokyo Disneyland Resort:
