Well, that's the same for pretty much all little kids that I have ever known. You've just got to "grow into" it, and some people never do.
Some little ones I know though are so little, and walk into coaster lines with their hands up shouting, all excited, while some 20-some year old friends are deciding if they are going to bail out or not still:D:p

It helps where you live to. I Know @englanddg use to visit family in the summer and would go to the parks. I grew up going yearly, but didn't become obsessed until later years when I really learn to appreciate everything about it and moved about 4 hours away and got annual passes.
Yeah. That experience growing up is what hooked me.

My grandfather would probably go to jail for it now, but when I would go stay for them over the summers (late 80s, early 90s) I had a Floridian Resident Annual Pass, and he'd drop me off at the parks (he taught college in Orlando, they lived a bit north of Ocala) and leave me there with some money for food and snacks...all...day.

Thats one thing that I have a problem with. At all times I'm at least 4 hours away by plane, probably more. I even have a silver pass too, but can't always use it!:p

I have a personal goal though, that if I ever win the lottery or something, that I will move to Golden Oaks:D

My daughter was ready as soon as she was tall enough.

Here's her first coaster ride ever (Goofy's Sky School...it's no longer there, now it's Barnstormer)

After that she was game for anything she was tall enough for.

She was so upset she wasn't tall enough for Rip Rourin Rocket when we went to Uni in 2012.

Yeah, it's the same thing for me, 3.5 hours by plane and 23 hours without stops in the car.

One day, I'll live at Golden Oaks.
