^Amazing how we usually get hardly any word from Disney about this stuff, and in one week we get two HUGE announcements

So excited, but certainly will miss the thematic "story" aspect of it.

There will probably be quite a few flat rides though, and if any of the current stuff happening in that area is an indicator, then, well, you know their names.

I was actually thinking of getting some plane tickets to come down that weekend to get on SBT and Maelstrom, but the plane is just too expensive!

Where are you flying from. Southwest seems to be "cheap" everywhere. If you are close enough i.e. East Coast The rail isn't bad.

My GF is P/O about Backlot. Its the only ride she remembers from her childhood visit, and one of the best memories she has of her Grandmother. I feel bad but at the same time I understand why it needs to go.

Yeah...I will miss it. I pretty much have some sort of emotional attachment to all of them though

I have a few I could go without. Mexico in Epcot holds no memories, but the day they take away the model trains from Germany I will burn Epcot to the ground.
