I'm not trying to use it as an excuse if you look at why Dreamfinder was fired, it was because he had no reason to why he left- I did.. I helped brainstorm with you guys it's seen in those first posts I made, MA liked my ideas you and Matt did not. I supported your idea and it was never fully executed. I assured you all that I had faith in you and that you did not need my help- obviously you did now that your saying that I did not help enough.
What exactly about school requires all of your time? Please elaborate because I'm curious.

60-50 Algebra problems a day, 60-100 Religion questions, seven paragraph essays (four a week), Choir practices, Spanish packets, Biology packets, Civics Packets, Swim team on Monday's, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Algebra tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays (two hour sessions). Daily bolus feedings which leave me in pain on a couch for three hours. Then pump feeding from seven pm to six pm. I'm packed in.

So you come home and do nothing but work and sit on your couch in pain. You have absolutely no time to contribute to the challenge? Well that brings up another question...

Why do you suddenly have time now to complain about being nominated?

I guess there could be a reason. Maybe you finished all your work already. But we still have the problem of you being busy throughout the week. Did this busy schedule not occur to you when you signed up to the challenge, or did you decide you would just let the team do all the work then blame them if we lose?

When I joined it was summer, I had a boat load of time to work and never thought the challenge would go on this long. I have all this time now because I am staying up, I came on after I finished my work and now I'm here. Next week we have a swim break and my doctor said that I do not have to do the bolus feedings anymore (YAY, I'm finally five feet and 85 pounds) so next week I will have more time. Remember I view our team as family not people I met on the internet. You guys help me in ways you can't imagine every time I come on this board.

I'll leave at that because I think we both said what we had to say.

You think the other three of us don't have homework?

Matt, let me ask you a question, how is the failure to post not directly your fault? i understand that there are challenges with time zones and other schedules, but if someone did you have their segment of the project could you not have submitted without that segment? Both JDM and myself have records of your groups threads and we both would have known who was responsible for what, but as PM are you not directly responsible for not posting? (hint, if you answer in a meritorious way I will NOT advocate for your elimination).
Our project wasn't done. What would have I posted?

I just wondered why you didn't post what you did have done. I simply have always felt like it's better to turn in an unfinished something than nothing at all. But I understand not submitting if you aren't done.
We had nothing but an idea, there was nothing to submit.

I always believed handing in nothing is better than something unfinished.

Again now with the school subject. I agree with sam. It can be a lot to handle! Not all schools give the same load but some do give more then others. now with other outside things to do and commitments it becomes harder to find time. Im always posting through my phones either on lunch breaks or on the bus home. Otherwise im too busy to contribute. Which wasnt the case in the summer. Except when i was on vacation and had no signal.

My point is he probably did have too much to do. I did too. Looking up olympic sports and making ride seqyences out of it was going to take time for me. Unfortunately i didnt finish. But fortunate my team won and I survived another round. If we lost I would have said send me home because i knew I contributed the least. So goos job to my team! It turned out great!

To be frank, I'm at a loss of words. First off, there has been way too much bickering and s**t. I'm saying the same thing I said in the PM, we're Imagineers, not politicians or whatever. But here's where I stand: Sam, I'm feel bad that you have to deal with all the health stuff (I get horrible stomach pains and headaches often, so I feel you, bro :)) But you committed to this team and challenge, and you're vital to our success. Again, like Matt said, we all got homework, and trust me, I know how overwhelming it can get sometimes. But, again, because you committed to this, we expect you to help us out. But on a side-note, Team Magic, your proposal is incredible! Great job!

So sorry for all the sidetracking, but I think I should remain for three reasons.

  1. My contributions and opinions help the team for the better. I try to make every contribution count. Whenever I feel the need to take a job, I make sure it's done good. When I look back at, per say, my script for Challenge 2, I put a lot of effort into it, and, in my opinion, I think was a big reason our proposal was a success.
  2. I feel I'm good at collaborating. I'm always open to collaborate and find better ideas/solutions for the better. I'll work together with my teammates to make the final proposal the best it can be.
  3. I'm passionate about my work. Ever since I stepped into the Magic Kingdom, my life was changed forever. My perspective on amusement parks was flipped upside down when I realize how much power they really had on guests. That day forward, I fell in love with Imagineering and designing rides, shows, and other things, big and small, for Disney and beyond. I love to work with my team and end up creating amazing times, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished so far.

Somebody has to go, and this is a tough one. @Matt7187 Your job this week was to keep, your team together and lead them through ideas. Overall, you stuck to this mission. @Sam4D23 This week you had some personal challenges that definitely held you back, but you kept a creative mindset and stayed in it. @MA Screamin' You had a flow of conversation and continually supported others' ideas. But you didn't necessarily have original concepts. This is a tough one...but for positivity and productivity going forward... @Sam4D23 you're fired, good luck in everything you are doing (Valedictorian! ;) ).
