As a citizen of Pittsburgh, I have to ask: how do you feel about a potential NBA team in the city? Consol Energy Center looks well fit for it.

This is totally random, but while were on the subject of sports I'm incredibly bitter that the new 49ers stadium actually has a very good chance of completely shutting down California Great America. I haven't even gotten to ride their new wooden coaster yet!

I have something else to say about sports too.

My nearby Minor League baseball team is now renamed from the New Britain Rock Cats to the Hartford Yard-Goats.

Seriously? The Yard-Goats?!

I personally would love it, and I feel like the city would support it. The stadium was packed both days, as it is for the occasional Duquesne/Pitt game too. People worry that the city is too small to support 4 teams, but really, if they can compete/are entertaining, people will come. I know that for a fact

If that happened Id have to start paying attention to the NBA. Pitt teams are my teams (at least professionally...when Pitt ladies Bball goes up against UTenn tomorrow I won't be rooting for them.

That's because the city IS too small. That's why the Pirates are pretty much nothing but a feeder team for the rest of the league.

Bout time the guins took home another Stanley Cup though.

I hate to say it, but I saw it coming. UVA wasn't the same since Andersons surgery, I think it hit them emotionally, and even with his return there wasn't enough time to get that communication and sync back. I think so of his teams mates were afriad of Anderson getting hurt again, and that possibly caused some tension.
