Myself along with @englanddg and @Voxel will be covering episode seven during this week's Tribal Council recap show. Starting tonight at 8 PM Eastern Time!

Hey guys! I finally got around to watching this.

I didn't "ignore" the challenge. The challenge said to build "on top" of the Submarine Voyage, not to remove it. Which I did, by building on top of the show building when I replaced Autopia.

That's actually how I interpreted the challenge from the beginning, not me looking for a loophole.

Haha, actually when I first got the challenge in a PM I was confused about that too, and initially I thought he literally wanted us to keep submarine voyage and make a new attraction directly above it:p:rolleyes:;)

Episode 8 Immunity Challenge-

Aquatic Architecture
@IDInstitute's Proposal

Universal is gaining some serious buzz right now in the theme park business. Repeatedly opening world-class attractions and experiences to make themselves truly known as, and deserving to be, the best in the theme park industry. One of the necessary steps to do this is to widen their experiences, including adding a water park. Rumors have been going around for a while about what the new water park would be, in particular WonderSea Island and Volcano Bay. However, I present you a new concept. Something original and beautiful at heart, while also supplying some innovative and game changing experiences in the water park industry. I present to you...

Jungle Shrine Waterpark
The Gem of the Rainforest
Question : Is IDI's links working because I keep getting blank pages?

Veto Challenge 7
Frontierland Food

Ladies and gents, I give you your last Project Veto Challenge!

View attachment 86745

For your challenge, you must create a new Table Service Restaurant for Frontierland. You must include the theme, backstory and overview of cuisine served.

Your submission must be turned into your Project Veto PM by 8:30 PM EST on March 15, 2015. If a castaway is awarded the Project Veto, they will be notified, otherwise, you will not hear back.

Also, castaway, I highly recommend you play for this one. The last chance to use the Project Veto will be the final 5 imagineer's council. Some of you could be on the chopping block and the Project Veto could help greatly. As, there are idols in your midst.

Did someone say Frontierland?

Thoughts on To Pimp a Butterfly? I am only on my first listen, so I will reserve my review until multiple listens, but so far, I like what I am hearing. Totally different sound than good kid, m.A.A.d. city, but I personally like the beats more, lots of funk/soul sounds in here.

BTW, it is back on iTunes after briefly being taken down today

After my first listen through of TPAB, my initial reaction was that it felt more like a really good collection of short stories that complimented the epic novel that was GKMC. I think I'll probably end up liking more of these tracks on an individual level, but Good Kid will always stand as a towering achievement of the new century as far as concept albums are concerned.

Really excited to finally listen to the new Modest Mouse album tomorrow!

I read through both of these posts and I have no idea what you are talking about at all.

Music nerd stuff ;) :p

It's been explained to me what happened. I'm not going to give anything away, for the sake of the parties involved.

I've had fun, good luck guys! I might see y'all in Sorcerer's, but I'm taking a break until then.

All will be revealed on the next Tribal Council podcast!

I've done only 1 whole listening, and right now, I like GKMC a bit more. Like you said, it tells a complete story, while this is more short stories, and at times I feel like they are just clustered together. Now I'm not saying it isn't good, I really do like it, especially the beats. The biggest concern is that there isn't a track that stands out to me on here besides The Blacker the Berry. U is pretty good, and I also liked Mortal Man, but i is much worse on here IMO, the reason I love that song so much is that is all of the positive energy which is way too rare from Kendrick, and this rendition made it bleaker and grayer, but it does fit better with the album. I will still listen to the original version in its place when listening randomly, but the album version for full listens.

My way of measuring how much I like albums is whether I have them in vinyl, and right now, I into have 4 rap ones...
1. GKMC
2. Blueprint
3. College Dropout
4. Take Care
5 (sorta). All eyez on me pretty soon

Now, I plan on adding more to that eventually, that is the standard for me. And right now, TPAM doesn't stand up to any of them, except maybe Take Care, but still not close. One day, maybe, but not right now.

Kendrick Lamar's new album that was supposed to come out next week but was "accidentally" released today. If you are not a big rap fan but want to become one, there are about 10 albums you need for the essentials, and then you can wing it really.

So I'm really getting into the "poem" structure of TPAB. At the end of most tracks Kendrick recites a spoken-word poem he wrote, adding one verse every time it appears. At the end of the album it's revealed that he's performing this poem to none other than freaking Tupac who he proceeds to have a "Conversation" with via an archived interview. Took a couple listens to fully pick up on this pattern, but it's pretty mind-blowing once you notice it.

I also loved the seemingly improvised rap to Oprah during the "riot" that breaks out at the end of "i". This thing is a grower for sure!
