I actually play it. Took forever to learn how though...frankly, I started with a fife, for that style of woodwind.

Now, Oboe and any brass I could never get down. The oboe reeds just mess with me (though my sister is VERY good with one), and I just could never get much going with brass (how to hold your lips, etc...it hurt my cheeks to much...so I never got past anything but very basic (and bad) playing!)

I started as a saxophone player with tenor, alto and Bari then March mellophone for a few months and trombone and tuba. I didn't play oboe to much but it was a fun challenge
