This is why American didn't paint their MD80s. It saves on weight, saves on maintenance and just works better.

Leave them bare. Find something new to complain about.

Just because I shared an opinion, doesn't mean I was complaining. I think I'm the only one that I've seen mention painting them. (YES, I understand it's not possible on the current material.) I still love WDW and will go and have an enjoyable time. It's simply my opinion that the poles could have been a different color. Others have different opinions and that's fine. Not everyone that shares an opinion is complaining.
