Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has sent out some new pictures showing off the opening of Odin’s Temple, including a great underwater shot of Odin himself. They’ve also posted an official YouTube video showing off the new exhibit as well as launched an official Facebook page.

According to the latest rumors next year’s expansion may be entirely focused on the waterpark side of things. Look for one or possibly two new attractions headed that way.

Screamscape sources have confirmed to us that Thomas Town will indeed feature 10 rides in this super-sized attempt at building a proper Thomas Town.

New Attraction - Rumor - (7/31/09) A bad rumor has been running around the ‘net lately claiming that Kentucky Kingdom would add a Tony Hawk’s Big Spin coaster for the 2010 season. Screamscape sources however have confirmed to us that this is just not true. I’ve been told that something is planned for the park next year, but it’s not a coaster.
