The site won't remember me!

For years I have been able to stay logged in here without having to sign in every time.

Now I am having to re-log in every time I come. I belong to another Vbulletin board and do not have that problem there. I have cleared my cookies and tried signing in again and that doesn't seem to work. I click the "remember me" button every time but it doesn't make any difference.

I am on a Mac running Safari, but like I said I've been able to stay logged in for the past couple of years on this same computer.

Goto http://forums.wdwmagic.com/mycookies.php and delete all the cookies. Then restart your machine, and give it another go.

I posted a while back saying that I was using a Mac with Safari and never had any issues when someone else posted about this same problem. But a few weeks later the same thing happened to me.

I tried deleting my cookies, resetting Safari, changing every setting possible, I tried using Steve's fix. I seriously spent a whole day doing everything I could think of to fix it to no avail. Again, this is the only site where I have this issue, and I post on a few different vbulletin boards and have no problems.

I finally gave up because there was no fixing it. It's been weeks and I still can't stay logged in with Safari. As much as I didn't want to, I had to switch over to Firefox because it was the only way I could stay logged in.

For some reason, Safari and this website don't mesh well.

After Steve asked me to delete my cookies, I thought it was fixed, but no dice. Alas, I have given up on Safari and joined the Firefox cult. It's not so bad; tabbed browsing is kinda nifty.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. I can't get it to work either, although I had such high hopes about the clearing the cookies thing! I do have Firefox on my Mac, I suppose I'll have to decide if it's easier to launch two browsers or just to log in every time. Hmmm.

I don't understand though why I can stay logged in at the other vBulletin board I visit regularly and not this one. You'd think the problem would be more consistent.

It is a strange problem. I will do some looking into it again and see if I can come up with anything more.

Hey you two...we Mac users have to stick together! No bickering about Safari vs. Firefox!! As long as you are on a Mac, right??

I suppose I will have to get used to using Firefox occasionally. Drat. I am so used to Safari and it doesn't seem to want to update so often which always annoys me for some reason.
